Dingo snowmobile modifications

The Dingo snowmobile was produced in several variations: Irbis Dingo t110, T125, T150, T200, T250, T300.

Dingo T125

The predecessor of this model is the snowmobile. They were driven by a propeller. The invention was used in the snowy expanses of Russia in peacetime and wartime. With the invention of the caterpillar, the construction of snowmobiles began to develop. They do not need roads, they easily overcome snowdrifts and at the same time reach speeds of up to 110 km/h (sports models). The Irbis company specializes in the production of snowmobiles and ATVs.

The T125 snowmobile was created with close collaboration between Russian and Chinese specialists. It takes into account the climatic features of Russia. The unit is equipped with a four-stroke Loncin SAB gasoline engine, which is a copy of an engine made by Japanese specialists from Honda. It is simple and reliable. Installed on pit bikes and low-power ATVs. If necessary, any spare part can be easily purchased in the store.

For the Dingo T125 model, a 530 drive chain with a length of 50 links is used.

T150

Snowmobiles Dingo T150 are followers of the T125 model. They are equipped with a four-stroke single-cylinder gasoline engine. Its power is 9.5-10 hp. With. Engine capacity - 149.6 cm3. The crankshaft rotates at speeds of up to 7500 revolutions per minute. Cooling is oil and air. The carburetor system with heated throttle allows the engine to start in seconds. For the Dingo T150 model, a 530 drive chain with a length of 44 links is used.

This model is the third generation of Russian snowmobiles. The modular design can be easily disassembled for transport in the trunk of a car.

The gearbox with reverse allows active maneuvering when moving in reverse. The rear suspension is equipped with two shock absorbers. They absorb shocks and vibrations well when moving. Snow hooks on an elongated track ensure high maneuverability of the vehicle in all weather conditions. The snowmobile carries a load weighing up to 150 kg on a trailer. The steering wheel grips are heated. There is a compartment for small items under the seat and a trunk in the rear. Dingo T150 is painted in 5 different colors.

When operating, you must wear a helmet, goggles and windproof clothing. It is not recommended to allow untrained people to operate. For long trips, you need to have a reserve of fuel.

Dingo T250

This is an improved model of a snowmobile with a higher power engine. Cooling is forced oil. Engine 15 liters. With. Started manually or with an electric starter. The developed speed is 60 km/h. The reinforced rubber track and swivel skis provide high maneuverability. The model is equipped with a variator with reverse. The length of the device is 2570 mm with a width of 965 and a height of 1065 mm.

The brake mechanism is hydraulic. Independent suspensions absorb bumps along the route well. The fuel system with heating of the carburetor diffuser is powered by AI-92 gasoline. I'll add my three cents to the conversation about tuning the Dingo engine. You can make 125cc from 110cc, but the modification is not easy, I know for sure because I personally did it myself. To make a larger cubic capacity, it is necessary to change the crankshaft; for cylinders from 125-155cc, the height is greater (about 1 cm) and, accordingly, the piston stroke is different. 125 piston ones are sold everywhere, but more of them are rare in Russia. So, in order to make 125 out of 110, you need to replace the crankshaft, cylinder head with piston, set of gaskets, timing chain, if you count the spare parts, it comes out to 8 thousand. Or buy the whole 125cc engine right away. We install these on the Irbis Dingo T125, a new 125cc semi-automatic engine with 4 gears. 3 forward 1 back. Shifting without pressing the clutch is enough to move the lever. Replacing the engine gave the necessary increase in power that was so lacking. In the 110 engine, one gear was stretched over the entire range. Our 125cc engine uses 3 forward gears. This made it possible to optimally use engine power and increased cross-country ability. In deep snow, the 1st traction gear works great; for high-speed driving on a packed road or snowstorm, the 3rd gear works great.

Apparently no one has run in the engines yet; there is not a single message about speed. It is advisable to measure it with GPS. It’s important for me, because I’ve already traveled at a speed of 15 km per hour - it’s not fun. Does the passport indicate the weight of the towed cargo?

The passport doesn't say anything about towing at all. You can increase the power, but without increasing the gooseneck, what's the point? and so in deep snow or on steep climbs the goose skids, rows out from under itself, but there is no point. According to “our” snowstorms, even powerful snowflakes crawl onto distant lakes at 20-30 km/h, the sled is behind the sled, there are bumps in front, ravines, turns, they only accelerate in short sections, and when they miss the bump, they get slammed by those in the sled

Along the Ob there is also hummock and drifts - you won’t get very fast, but on the reservoir, but on the lakes it’s probably smoother, that’s true.

Owner reviews and prices

Nikolay, Nizhnekamsk:

I bought a T150 snowmobile, which delighted me with its high-level ergonomics. The machine is easy to operate. You can sit comfortably, resting your feet on the comfortable footrests. The pluses include the control knobs. The downside is the windshield. It's of no use. It does not cut off the oncoming flow of cold air. I didn't notice any other shortcomings.

The total mileage is more than 1500 km. It pulls loads up to 120 kg well. I'm happy with the car. Its price is affordable for many. A new unit in a store costs only 99-115 thousand rubles.

Marseille, Mozhga:

Dingo T150 differs from the previous model in size and improved technical data. The model has become more convenient. I liked the variator and reverse. The disadvantages include the fact that prolonged skating on ice or packed snow leads to breakage of caterpillar parts. Before driving, it is better to check the presence of fuel in the gas tank and the operation of the brakes. It is also good to inspect the track and tighten it.

Anton, Kuliga village:

I bought a snowmobile, which I just ran for 500 km. At speeds up to 30 km/h. Changed the engine oil after 100 km. I kept the engine speed at 7000. As a result, all the parts got used well, including the variator belt. Now I drive at high speed and with a load.

And again about oil. In the so-called “manual” it is written that 10w40 SF class oil was filled from the factory. And the same is recommended for replacement))))) But. This is a masolo of the last century that was used in VAZ kopendos. So should I pour Livi Moth 0w40 or not?

Re: The dismountable snowmobile “Dingo” was developed and tested in Zlatoust.

I drew a schematic diagram, I’ll say right away that the wires may not match much, I didn’t draw almost any striped wires, I quickly drew the white ones blue or gray. But the essence of the connection is clear. I didn't draw the speed sensor. The generator has two independent windings, one for powering the power circuit (headlight, etc.), and the second part is powering the switch. Thus, the spark is completely independent of the headlight, battery charging, etc. Therefore, the engine will work and start even without a battery (from the pusher). It is only necessary that the muffling wire (black and white striped) is not shorted to ground (this is how the engine is muffled both from the key and the button on the remote control). The ignition winding is on a separate core with a thin wire, the resistance is about 450-500 ohms. One end of the ground winding, the other goes to the commutator. The power part is represented by a winding with a tap, a thick wire on a separate core. One end of the winding is on ground, nth number of turns, tap (yellow wire), then a certain number of turns and the output is a white wire. The white wire goes only to the voltage regulator; through it, the voltage is regulated by short-circuiting this part of the winding (shunting). The yellow wire goes to the regulator and then to AC consumers (headlights, parking lights). The voltage regulator also contains a diode, it rectifies the already stabilized voltage to charge the battery (red wire)

Thank you. But this is 40 and not 30, and does it say anything about an oil bath? Most snowballs have variator belts!

The first number indicates the viscosity of the oil when cold, and the second when hot. The higher the second number, the thicker the heated oil, roughly speaking.

Re: The dismountable snowmobile “Dingo” was developed and tested in Zlatoust.

Smirnoff wrote about the faucet. All scooter stores have these taps. There is no need to cut it into the tank, just into the cut in the hose. This is done on my Irbis TTR125. if they are electric, then they are also from scooters, but most of them are vacuum ones. In cold weather, the rubber band in it becomes dull, even at near-zero temperatures. and second, if gasoline runs out, then the tank is filled, the float chamber does not fill, because... The vacuum valve only works when the motor is rotating. either turn the starter until you're crazy, or remove the hose from the intake manifold and create a vacuum with your mouth.

I don’t understand my friend’s post about the harmfulness of running in xx. which rings are pressed by gas pressure and where. breakthrough of gases will occur just when you give coke on unground CPG vapors. The same goes for unused valves. It may not be necessary, of course, but it certainly isn’t harmful.

Automotive oil is not recommended, since the clutch may slip, because Automotive oil contains a high content of antifriction additives. The dingo may not be a heavy-duty unit, but it also has little grip. and if we take into account that the transmission is single and direct, then the entire load on the movement of snow acceleration, and even with the sled, goes through it - slipping is possible. perhaps invisible to the eye. the oil in the slip friction zone can boil and, in worst cases, form carbon deposits on the clutch elements. as an example, a 400cc motorcycle with auto oil slipped the clutch in 4th gear, but not in the first three. The viscosity should preferably be at least 5 to avoid oil starvation after starting the engine in severe frosts. It starts up at -27 on a quad, but it runs very noisily and seems to be dry, but literally after 1-2 minutes it returns to normal. As correctly noted, almost all snowmobiles and quads have CVTs. and also, with thick oil, a device started at speed can run away, because The thickened oil in the clutch transmits torque to the transmission. Last winter I rode a 10v40 motorcycle with a musher.

WASHING AND STORAGE

Washing your snowmobile: When washing your snowmobile, do not wash the following parts with pressurized water - ignition switch, electrical switches, muffler exhaust port. This may damage them. After cleaning your snowmobile, rinse it with clean water. Wipe the snowmobile dry. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Preservation of a snowmobile:

When storing for a long period of time, such as during the summer (more than one month), take steps to keep the snowmobile in good condition. Have it serviced.

Wash the snowmobile and wipe it dry. Rub the painted metal parts with wax paste. Drain the fuel tank and carburetor. Remove the spark plug. Pour a small amount of engine oil (15-20 ml) of the same type that was poured into the engine into the cylinder, slowly turn the crankshaft 1-2 turns and put the spark plug in place.

Disconnect the battery. When removing the battery, first disconnect the negative cable, then the positive one. Store it in a dark, cool and well-ventilated area. When installing, connect the positive wire first, then the negative wire.
