Verdict

Stels Delta 200 is a “classic” with 13 hp. with a surprisingly simple design. It will cope quite well with taking its owner to work, on a visit or to the store. It is advisable to replace the tires, since in wet weather the grip on the road surface deteriorates sharply.

The Minsk C4 250 stritter was launched into production relatively recently - in 2011. The demand for low-power 125 Minsks was rapidly approaching zero and it was necessary to urgently look for a replacement for them. Based on the technical and technological capabilities of the plant and consumer demand for economy class models, the developers saw the greatest potential in this particular motorcycle.

Prices

The cost of the new Minsk C4 250 ranges from 103 – 136 thousand rubles.

Prices for used C4 250, as always in such cases, vary widely, it all depends on the year of manufacture and the technical condition of the motorcycle.

Stels Delta 200 (stealth delta) – price and characteristics

The Stealth brand operates and produces motorcycle equipment in Russia, and every year the demand for these products is growing. The Delta 200 model is considered a new product from the Chinese manufacturer. At the moment, the entire line of the Stels brand is the property of.

The Stealth Delta motorcycle appeared on the Russian market in 2011, and since then the model has been extremely popular. The design of the delta is quite standard and the shape is streamlined, making it a great budget bike. The most important thing about this model is its low price. When production of Soviet bikes ceased, the Russians needed a new two-wheeled vehicle, and the Stealth came at just the right time. This model has many advantages.

Fighting for a place in the sun

Chinese motorcycle manufacturers have long flooded the market with cheap bikes, which are often not only similar in appearance - they are also equipped with the same components, copied from old Japanese bikes, or produced under license.
So, neither externally nor from a technical point of view, the Stealth Delta 200 is nothing special - it is an ordinary budget motorcycle, as simple as possible, affordable and unpretentious. Reviews from Stels Delta 200 owners for the most part do not contradict this statement. In everything related to the appearance of the Stealth Delta 200 motorcycle, the Chinese did not reinvent the wheel and went the beaten path. Classic design, round headlight, lack of unnecessary plastic - everything is laconic and even minimalistic. However, this only benefited the Stels Delta - unlike some other “Chinese” models that try to appear like sportbikes or choppers and therefore look cheap, it looks really good. Just a light road bike, nothing more, nothing less.

Let's take a look inside

Everything here is so familiar and expected that the technical characteristics of the Stealth Delta 200 are applicable to a whole bunch of other Chinese bikes. A 197 cc air-cooled engine is inserted into a steel tubular frame , working with a 5-speed transmission and fed by a carburetor. Classic shock absorbers front and rear are responsible for absorbing road irregularities. It should be noted that if the rider is not too heavy, they cope well with bad asphalt, but if you take a passenger with you, the bike will sag noticeably.

Fortunately, Chinese designers did not skimp on the brakes - both wheels have brake discs with 1-piston calipers . Considering the modest mass of the Stels Delta 200, it is a stretch to call them effective. However, it is worth considering that if there is a passenger, the braking distance almost doubles. Although this is not so scary, considering that the 12.9-horsepower engine is capable of accelerating the motorcycle to no more than 110 km/h .

In general, the Stels Delta 200 motorcycle is well suited as a utilitarian vehicle for every day due to its efficiency, low weight and modest dimensions, allowing you to easily fit between cars in heavy traffic. But on suburban highways the lack of dynamics is immediately felt, and a side wind blows a light bike off the road quite noticeably.

Tuning

Note that the motorcycle gives the owner the opportunity to carry out complete tuning. Many Russian craftsmen immediately set about changing the front wheel, which seems too narrow, and reducing the space between the headlight and the fender. In addition, they change the mirrors to chrome ones, raise the wing, etc.

The motor is, of course, not made of ideal quality (its plastic parts especially), but I think that it’s quite normal for the money... It’s revving, torquey, goes 120, then it’s hard for it. It feels good at 90, it doesn’t need any better. Gasoline consumption small, I think about 2.5-3 liters, the front fork is soft, you sit comfortably, the wheels are of course a bit narrow, wider tires would be preferable, the gearbox clicks well, easily, but getting neutral in place can be a problem. I rode it, nothing came loose, nothing it fell off and it didn’t create any problems for me. As a first moto, I highly recommend purchasing it, it’s faster than 125 cubic meters and more interesting. What engine can be installed on the stealth delta 200

Having ridden Moto-Summer 2013 on an Orion 125, the question arose for me: What to ride to Crimea 2014? There are a lot of plans: Moscow—Abkhakhia—Crimea—Kyiv—Kharkov—Moscow (the plan was built in 2013). I figured it would be around 6000 km. Orion raised questions.

Among the contenders were Yobrik, Stealth Delta 200 and CF moto Leader 150.

Ebrik is reliable, proven, with a lot of other people’s travel experience online. Comfortable for long range riders. Lots of accessories. Quiet modern engine. Among the shortcomings - weak, airy, high-speed. Dearest.

Stealth Delta 200 - cheap, comfortable to sit, high torque at lower speeds. And an 18-liter gas tank! But air and lower timing belt. And you’ll install a trunk fic.

CF moto Leader 150 - modern, dropsy and upper timing belt, 6 gears, original Chinese, which is sold all over the world. There is a trunk. It costs less than Yobra. The disadvantages are lower torque (than on the Delta) and high speed. The supports of the legs are not brought forward: it is possible that the legs will get tired.

I haven't watched Stealth Flame 200. Yes, a trunk, an oil cooler (which still needs to be changed to a Zaporozhye one) and a lot of experience on the Internet. But the pegs are at the back, and for the money it’s better to get a CF moto with dropsy.

I haven’t looked at Stealth SB 200 at all. Mot took it at a distance. I would go nuts from such a landing.

And the choice fell in favor of the “wallet + comfort” parameter. Those. Stealth Delta 200. Which I ordered in February at the winter price of 46,500 rubles with free storage at the dealer until April 1. And on April 1, the Chinese lowered the yuan and Delta remained at a price of 46,000 until the crisis in the fall of 2014. As a result, I wasted my time driving home in the spring cold. Eh, if I knew the purchase, I would live in Sochi. That is OK.

Next is registration and running-in. From the salon straight to the Moscow Ring Road: very difficult - I couldn’t resist. But during the running-in process I drove better and better. Do you think running-in is 1000 km? Nothing like this. The motor finally woke up at 3000 km. And then he drove off most excellently.

Well, the rest turned out to be a normal spendthrift. The TO-300 was done at the dealer (my principle is “the first service is at the dealer, and then we look at the terms of the warranty”), everything was stretched and lubricated. The valves were not adjusted. I did TO-1000 at 950 km myself. I stretched everything, adjusted the valves and carburetor, and filled it with oil. I was pleased with the quality of the metal (HA! On the Crimean trip I broke the lever of the central footrest, because there is no point in pressing it so hard when the bike is loaded, the metal is still Chinese, but on average the metal is not bad for China).

A digression for those who will travel south with motor oil: I always use only semi-synthetic autos and accept motor oil only on high-speed Japanese vehicles. I don’t take part in the discussion of motor oils, I’m just saying what kind of oil I use. But I want to immediately note one point: semi-synthetic cars are good in the middle zone, but in the south, for air under constant load, I would recommend 20W50 mineral water. It’s hard to find such a car oil in Moscow now, but Liqui-Moli-Mineral 20W50 motorcycle oil costs quite tolerably and has good characteristics. At the same time, I drove the entire Krasnodar region on semi-synthetic 10W40 (it’s not so hot in Crimea) - it’s tolerable. I simply changed the oil not once every 2000-2500, but once every 1500-1700 km and shifted gears more gently. The gearbox does not like overheated auto-semi-synthetics. But in the middle zone, semi-synthetic autos work even better in the gearbox. I ride on it.

By the Crimean trip in July 2014, I had covered 1600 km without any problems. I was very pleased with the bike, loaded the donkey, tightened the chain, tightened a few nuts and went south. I did not change the oil and changed it at about 3100 km (driving about 2150 km). It was difficult to load, I had to think for a long time, but this is in the story that I am still writing.

The Chinese chain has an interesting property - if you drive at a speed of up to 70 km/h, it hardly stretches and you can drive 1000 km or more without even thinking about tightening it. But as soon as you start driving 80-90-100, the chain begins to stretch, requiring mandatory tensioning every 1000 km and checking every 500 km.

Fit: very comfortable. Me, with my height
