Powerful and convenient CF Moto X5 High Output


On X5 N.O. you have to move your body. Despite the fairly wide track, the ATV is prone to roll when cornering. This roll comes from the front wheels. Their camber is the same as on dump trucks that transport super-heavy loads, that is, V-shaped. It is difficult to say why the manufacturer decided to do this, because the permitted load on the cargo bars in total is only 60 kg. I was impressed by the basic equipment: electric power steering, alloy wheels, a 1360 kg winch, cargo areas for quick-release fastenings instead of the usual tubular racks, LED lights, lens optics, protective shields for the driver’s hands... It’s great when the manufacturer pays due attention to detail. Even take the seat, it is not only comfortable, but also black and white, and even the stitching continues the lines that come from the plastic. The footpegs are aluminum, so your feet stay firmly in place and don't move around when cornering. Excellent LED headlights. Have you seen what's under the seat? This is exactly where the Chinese used knowledge from Feng Shui. All wires are in sealed tubes, and there are only three of these tubes under the seat, which is very convenient.

Overall X5 N.O. The EPS is assembled with high quality: there are no backlashes, no creaks in the chassis, the engine runs smoothly, but I had some arguments with the transmission several times. I set the lever to “parking” mode on a slight rise, then wanted to switch it back to “H” mode, but the lever jammed. On a flat surface, it’s enough to simply rock the ATV back and forth and the gear will fall into place, but then there’s a rise! The photographer and I rocked the X5 NO for about 5 minutes to get the transmission into gear. Maybe I turned on the “teapot” mode, but I have never encountered such a problem before. At the presentation of X5 N.O. the manufacturer showed a video teaser of the new model, where two riders, not sparing the equipment, drove off-road and jumped on bumps, lifting all wheels off the ground. As the test progressed, I also wanted to go faster and jump higher. You can watch the video from the presentation on Youtube, but I can say that you don’t get much pleasure from jumping, and that’s not what the ATV is actually for. The front suspension was punctured when landing; the shock absorbers were too soft for such things when the ATV weighed 377 kg. Then I calmed down, took my soul away, so to speak, and felt all the charm of a calm, measured ride. The chopper-style steering wheel turned out to be very comfortable, the suspension works softly, you sit like in a chair and enjoy the scenery. Bliss! CF Moto really lacked such an ATV in its lineup; the fresh, bright design and good basic equipment make others tense up and think: how much does this beauty cost? And it costs X5 N.O. EPS is only 425,000 rubles. The ATV is easy to control, so it will be comfortable for any type of driver. Well built and well balanced. On X5 N.O. You can do housework, you can go out in the forest with friends. And owners of top-end ATVs will stare at the design of your X5 N.O. EPS.

  1. I recently purchased this ATV. I bought a used one with a mileage of 1000 kilometers. The only additional equipment it received was protection. It cost me 335 thousand rubles. Having ridden it for the first time, I got a lot of positive impressions (previously there was another model, and it had little power in comparison with this one). The traction throughout the entire range is simply excellent; during sharp acceleration, the quadric even squats a little. We tried driving with a passenger, so he doesn’t feel the additional load at all and also confidently accelerates. However, I noticed one drawback, namely the steering wheel plays up and down. Out of interest, I turned to dealers, and there, even on new cars, a similar problem is observed. It feels like the steering is hanging loose on the universal joint, as if it wasn't tightened.
  2. I have been using this ATV for riding in the forest for quite a long time. During all this time of operation, there were practically no serious breakdowns, although the model still requires some improvements in the technical part. The electric power steering still evokes some vague feelings. It seems that he copes with his task well, his hands do not get tired, but on the other hand, he is somehow uninformative. But still, I think you can get used to it. Compared to the X8, this one flies less dirt, that is, if it was almost completely covered with dirt during active off-road driving, then the X5 still has clean areas. It seems like a small thing, but it’s nice.
