Appearance of Honda CBR 125
The model appeared in 2004 and is still in production today. Externally, the motorcycle was similar to the Honda CBR F4i. In 2007, the model takes on the appearance of the Honda CBR 600RR, and the carburetor is replaced by an injector. In 2011, the motorcycle takes on the features of the Honda CBR 250. There are no changes in the technical part.
Tuning Honda CBR 125
Tuning for the Honda CBR 125 is available externally and internally. The exterior is traditional - airbrushing, LED lighting, non-standard mirrors and turn signals. Internal tuning mainly comes down to modifying chains, sprockets and other transmission elements. In addition, owners of the first editions of the Honda CBR 125 can change the box to a restyled one from later models. All this will slightly increase the power and speed of the motorcycle.

Odnoklassniki Honda CBR 125
The main competitor of the Honda CBR 125 is the Yamaha YZF-R125.
Structurally, the motorcycles of both manufacturers are similar. Yamaha has a slightly different (according to users, more comfortable) fit. Another difference is that the Honda CBR 125 has two valves, the Yamaha has four. As a result, the YZF-R125 is slightly more powerful. Due to the different number of valves, motorcycles behave differently when moving. The Honda CBR 125 starts off briskly and accelerates well, but at 5000 rpm a certain “stupidity” sets in, which goes away as soon as the tachometer needle shows 11,000 rpm.
The dynamics of the Yamaha YZF-R125 at the start leave much to be desired, but after 6000 rpm a smooth pick-up occurs.
Appearance, design features
Honda CB 125 is currently positioned as a motorcycle for beginners , as well as for lovers of everyday riding, at low cost.
This motorcycle used to belong to the road class, but now it is generally accepted that the Honda CB 125 E is a naked class bike. This is manifested in minimalist design.
Completely open engine, clearly visible frame and suspension elements, a small amount of plastic elements.
The Honda CB 125 is currently on sale in three colors: red, silver and black.
Interestingly, no matter what color the bike is, the side covers of the glove compartments installed under the seat are silver.
This motorcycle has alloy wheels . In front there is a very small fairing into which a headlight shaped like an arrowhead is inserted.
The fairing itself is so small that it only provides cover for the dashboard.
The dashboard itself includes two information wells. The left well is reserved for the speedometer, the second is more for beauty and symmetry, it includes only signal lamps for the “neutral” and high beam.
Additional sensors are located between the wells , one of them is the amount of fuel and an electronic sensor indicating the speed turned on while driving.
The tank has a somewhat complex design , although this is almost not noticeable from the side. In its upper part there is an expansion, which, closer to the middle of the tank, narrows sharply, forming small protrusions from the existing upper expansion of the tank.
The seat starts immediately from the tank. It is double, with a small dividing step.
Behind the seat there is a kind of small trunk made of plastic. From the glove compartments, plastic side skirts extend under the seat, ending at the end with a brake light.
The location of the power plant is classic . On the right side, along the motorcycle runs an exhaust pipe, covered on the outside with a chrome trim.
The engine itself, although 4-stroke, has one cylinder and a modest volume of 125 cc. cm. It is cooled by a counter flow of air.
The gearbox available on the Honda CB 125 E is 5-speed and is operated by foot.
The drive is carried out by a chain , and the chain does not have a protective cover; there is only a small cover on the top row of the chain.
Thanks to its many advantages, the Yamaha Grizzly 700 ATVs are rightfully considered one of the leaders in their segment.

Rider,
“Two years ago we chose a motorcycle for my wife. As a result of much digging on the Internet, the choice fell on the Honda CBR 125. The motorcycle turned out to be light and generally small in size. It steers and accelerates well, at least outside the city it doesn’t lag far behind “adult” motorcycles. Nothing has broken in three years of use. We’re already wondering how long this will last.”
History of the model
While creating ever larger and more powerful power plants for its motorcycles, the company did not forget what gave this company its popularity as a motorcycle manufacturer - budget motorcycles for everyday life .
One of these motorcycles is the CB 125 E model.
The low price, simple and reliable design of the bike, and ease of control ensured good demand for this motorcycle.
Production of the Honda CB 125 started back in 1971.
All of the listed positive qualities of the bike ensure demand for it for many years; this motorcycle is still being produced. Of course, it has changed a lot over the years, various modifications of it have appeared and disappeared .
If you look at the model of the motorcycle from the first years of production, it was quite simple and uncomplicated in appearance. Now, despite its mediocre technical characteristics, the motorcycle looks stylish .

Transmission and clutch
The motorcycle received a 5-speed gearbox.
As usual, the Honda gearbox did not cause any problems for the pilot. The gears shifted smoothly but clearly, the pedal travel was within reasonable limits, and neutral was also caught well.
The main drive is standard - chain .
Brakes
Front brakes.
Front wheel hub.
Rear brakes.
To save resources, the motorcycle received 1 disc per wheel . According to user reviews, the brakes work well, but the engine is so playful that sometimes you can overpress it and end up in a skid. However, for a motocross motorcycle this is normal.
The diameter of the brake rotors is 240 mm (the discs are identical). The front wheel is served by a 2-piston , the rear wheel by 1 .
No additional systems are provided.
Driving performance
Since the motorcycle is a sports bike, only the team mechanics had official information about the maximum speed. But the speed measured by users using GPS is only 90 km/h . It is useless to measure acceleration from zero to 100 km.
Fuel consumption
Consumption according to specifications is 5.6 liters per 100 km . Considering that the tank is only 7.5 liters, the average distance per fill-up should be more than 100 km . However, users note that such a distance will require refueling 2 times. According to estimates, one full tank is enough for about 90 km of travel. Not the best performance, but again, this is a motorcycle for sports competitions, and in such conditions, both the average consumption and the distance on 1 refueling do not play any special roles .
Fuel tank capacity is 7.5 liters (on the second generation – 7.7 liters).
