Irbis Dingo T150 is a time-tested snowmobile that has gone through three generations. Of course, the developers did a good job fixing the mistakes and created the model together with Russian engineers. The model in question is equipped with a powerful engine, and unlike its predecessors, it has good traction characteristics. This is facilitated by efficient air cooling. To increase cross-country ability, the manufacturer has provided an enlarged caterpillar track - its length is 2626 mm. The tape is made of reinforced material on a rubber-fabric base. In addition, the car received lugs increased to 23 mm. The device is also equipped with an improved roller-slide suspension, reinforced with two shock absorbers.
The snowmobile in question received an electric starter, although the car can be started manually. It is noteworthy that the snowmobile has compact dimensions, but at the same time is capable of transporting loads weighing up to 150 kg. Moreover, this model will become a worthy alternative to special transport in various farms.
The Irbis Dingo T150 model is equipped with a reversible gearbox, as well as heated steering wheel grip and throttle trigger functions. Heating can be switched between two modes, resulting in comfortable operation regardless of weather conditions. Among the pleasant little things, we note a special glove compartment under the seat. You can place various things and accessories in it, as well as tools and necessary spare parts. Large cargo can also be placed in this luggage compartment. A reinforced towbar allows you to transport a sled with additional cargo, the weight of which can reach 150 kg. If necessary, you can use a 12 V socket to which you can connect a navigator or smartphone battery. We highly note the multifunctional panel, on which you can display information about the engine crankshaft speed, external air temperature, oil pressure, daily mileage, etc.

In terms of handling, the Dingo T150 is simple and informative. Thus, the car is equipped with a CVT operating in stepless mode. The power plant and variator are adapted to work in low-temperature conditions. The engine is air-cooled and has a pre-heater. In case of overheating, an exclamation mark icon appears on the dashboard. This situation can arise, for example, when the internal combustion engine operates for many hours, or under high load (with high load capacity).
The Irbis Dingo T150 snowmobile has good maneuverability, and in terms of handling, it is definitely better than its previous analogues, taking into account the instantaneous reactions of the machine when changing the steering wheel. The driver does not have to lean over to make a turn. Moreover, the machine has excellent traction properties, which is very important for overcoming difficult icy areas. In field conditions, the Dingo T-150 snowmobile behaves predictably, as well as in deep snowdrifts. This was confirmed by successful factory tests of endurance and load capacity. One of the disadvantages is the poor placement of the footrests. These footrests are not very suitable for tall drivers, whose feet will slip off. However, as an alternative, other, larger footrests can be installed on request.
Based on the above arguments, we can be convinced that the Dingo T-150 has more advantages than disadvantages. It is ideal for the needs of fishermen and hunters, because it is endowed with excellent geometric cross-country ability and comfortable suspension. It has good traction characteristics.
Engine
The Dingo T150 snowmobile is equipped with a gasoline four-stroke power unit capable of developing a rated power of 6.8 kilowatts or 9.5 horsepower. The engine block has only one cylinder, the displacement of which is 1,496 liters. The nominal crankshaft rotation speed reaches 7500 rpm. The cooling system of this engine is forced air, supplemented by oil cooling. The fuel system contains a single-chamber carburetor with a heated throttle diffuser.

Manufacturer and features of the Dingo 150 snowmobile
Irbis Motors is a Russian company and has long been presenting its equipment on the domestic market, and since 2000 it began cooperation with a Chinese company that represents a huge range of motor vehicles (scooters, ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles).
Specialists refine and adapt the supplied equipment to the conditions of the roads and climate of the Russian Federation, each time supplementing the model range with more modernized equipment with the addition of updated elements and options.
The main distinctive feature of the Dingo 150 is the quick assembly and disassembly of the machine without the use of tools and additional equipment in literally ten minutes.
Let's celebrate! After assembly, the device acquires compact dimensions that allow it to be transported in the trunk of a car. It is this design feature that largely attracts the attention of potential buyers.
Reviews
- Boris, Irkutsk. The car was purchased relatively recently, in maintained condition. I must admit, at first I was delighted with the ergonomics of the snowmobile - the Chinese are great. At the same time, the machine has a fairly simple design, and operating it is not difficult. This is my first snowmobile and I quickly found my fit. The seat is quite comfortable and, moreover, there are footrests - specifically for my feet. There is a heated grip and seat function. Comfort is decent considering the low price. The control levers are also quite ergonomic, but there are some drawbacks. For example, this is the windshield, which greatly impairs visibility. It is low and the wind blows straight into your face. And all due to the fact that the glass is installed at a right angle.
- Nikolay, Yekaterinburg. I have been using the Irbis Dingo T-150 for two years, I have been using it for the third season. The odometer shows 1500 km. The car met all my expectations - both good and bad. After all, it’s clear what you can expect from cheap Chinese equipment. At the very least, this sled has a surprisingly high payload capacity that can exceed 120 kg. Plus, you can add two passengers here, including me, the driver. But it’s impossible to accelerate above 40 km/h. But even at this speed the car does not stand well on the road. There are disadvantages to a narrow wheelbase - for example, from a safety point of view, because you can easily fly off a snowmobile if you lose your balance. The heated steering wheel works poorly, the handles are still cold in the cold. Fuel consumption does not hurt your pockets, although this is understandable, because there are only 10 horses under the hood. The car is light and compact and can go absolutely everywhere. But if you can push something, it won’t be too difficult.
Price
Such equipment falls into the category of rather expensive entertainment and the cost of cars most often starts from 250 thousand Russian rubles. The Dingo T150 snowmobile surprisingly has a very affordable price, namely, in a completely new technical condition, it can be purchased at prices ranging from 99 thousand to 115 thousand Russian rubles. A used option can be even cheaper. At this price, it has very good qualities, even its appearance, from the fit of parts to the overall design, is made at a high level.
Snowmobile care
The hero of this article, like any other equipment, requires mandatory inspection and care. While the snowmobile is still new, it does not require special care, but only a run-in for a more detailed examination of the behavior of the snowmobile during operation.
Major work will need to be carried out at the end of the season:
- diagnostics;
- preparatory work for the next season.
While the vehicle is under warranty, periodic inspection will be carried out at an authorized service center.
But do not forget that you yourself need to perform some actions:
- periodically clean important mechanisms from clogged dirt by washing the snowmobile. The best effect can be achieved by carrying out this procedure after each trip (you can learn more about this process from the instructions);
- monitoring the condition of the fuel system;
- inspection of the integrity of the clutch system. Identified cracks, chips and other damage should be repaired immediately;
- The battery must be removed and stored in a warm place;
- the engine is started only outside the garage;
- garage storage, especially in low temperature conditions.
Is registration required for a self-propelled vehicle?
After purchasing a snowmobile, it must be registered with the State Technical Supervision Authority within 10 days.
Otherwise, the owner will receive a fine of 1,500 to 2,000 rubles. For legal entities, this amount will be even more impressive - 5,000-10,000 rubles.
So the procedure for registering a snowmobile is necessary. The amount of transport tax on some models can reach significant amounts, depending on the power of the equipment.
Failure to undergo a technical inspection or failure to pass it on time will also result in a fine. You can go through it in order of priority at traffic police departments or at commercial organizations that have a license for such activities.
Thus, driving a snowmobile, in addition to attentiveness and caution, requires the driver to have a full package of documents with him:
- driving licence;
- registration certificate;
- a document indicating that a technical inspection has been completed.
The registration procedure consists of the following steps:
- Insuring the mechanism and obtaining a compulsory motor liability insurance policy, if necessary. Not required for equipment with a design speed equal to or less than 20 kilometers per hour.
- A trip to the Gostekhnadzor department to receive an application and payment details.
- Collection of necessary documents and payment of fees.
- Contact the Gostekhnadzor department with a list of required papers.
- Acceptance of documents for registration.
- Obtaining registration documents:
- state registration plate;
- PTS with a registration mark;
- registration certificate.
Documents required for the procedure:
- application of the established form;
- passport of the self-propelled mechanism, where the owner is indicated;
- purchase and sale agreement and transfer and acceptance certificate indicating numbers;
- certificate of conformity;
- transit state registration plate, if available;
- owner's identification card.
Since the beginning of 2015, the total cost of such a public service as snowmobile registration is 2,350 rubles.
How to properly care
In order for the Dingo T150 to serve its owner for as long as possible, it is worth taking proper care of it. Following several rules will make it easier to start a snowmobile in extreme cold:
- After you have used the vehicle, but before turning off the engine, press the throttle lever firmly several times. Thanks to these simple manipulations, the spark plug will be cleaned;
- If your plans for the near future do not include trips on a snowmobile, then periodically warm up the engine. To do this, just start it;
- remove the battery . It should be stored in a warm place. A heated garage is also suitable for this. If possible, ensure that the battery does not discharge;
- starting a snowmobile at low temperatures harms the engine, so in severe frost, do not leave the vehicle for a long time outside without work, or drive it into the garage;
- when the engine is turned on, the hood must be closed with protective guards and covers;
- It is permissible to turn on the snowmobile only outdoors;
- You can only press the electric start button for 3-4 seconds . If you fail to turn on the snowmobile within this time, you should try again after 40 seconds, otherwise the battery may be discharged before you start the ride;
- also, in order for the Dingo T150 to serve its owner for a long time and without problems, the snowmobile must be run in ;
Preparing to operate a snowmobile
Like any vehicle, a number of measures should be taken before starting operation:
- checking the level of fuel poured into the tank;
- the brake system must be bled;
- checking the level of track tension and damage to the track system;
- bleeding the brake and gas levers;
- external inspection of optics for damage and timely replacement of lighting devices;
- thorough check of the fuel line and steering mechanism.
Note! Strict adherence to these recommendations will help avoid injury!
