Attention! – Before replacing gears, disconnect the machine from the electrical outlet. To replace the guitar feed gears, open the headstock side guard.

Gear shafts W and Z3 are mounted in bearings; therefore, adjustments to the gaps between the gears are made by changing the position of gears Z1 and Z2, the axes of which move along the groove of sector 2, and changing the position of the guitar of interchangeable gears 2.

Unscrew the clamping bolt 1 of guitar 2 by 2-3 turns. Disengage gear Z2 from gear Z1 by lowering guitar 2 down.

Unscrew bolts 3 securing gears Z1, Z2 and Z3. Remove the gears. Install the required gears. First of all, install gear Z3, tighten bolt 3. Using the position of the axes of gears Z1 and Z2 and the position of gear 2, adjust the gaps between the gears. Tighten the fixing bolts 3 and 1. When adjusting the gaps between the gears, make sure that the gaps are as small as possible, but the gears rotate freely.
