Out into the wild, into the pampas - Irbis TTR 250 conquers off-road conditions

Budget motorcycles are in great demand these days, so the Chinese market has introduced its inexpensive enduro motorcycle Irbis TTR 250. The pit bike has excellent technical characteristics, and spare parts for the Irbis TTR 250 are inexpensive and accessible.

The motorcycle wheels are large enough, and the rubber is suitable for both severe testing and road use. But be careful when driving on public roads, because in this case you will have to register with the traffic police. In general, for simple rides, an off-road motorcycle is not required to be registered. Since the technology is Chinese, it has its drawbacks.

pros

  • simple maintenance;
  • powerful and high-quality motor;
  • relatively low fuel consumption;
  • the appearance is quite modern and creates the appearance of an SUV;
  • excellent dynamic characteristics.

Minuses

  • some new models have poor build quality;
  • plastic is too weak;
  • many complain about the quality of the wiring;
  • low-quality chain (can be supplied from a Japanese motorcycle).

TTR250 design

Since the model is intended for sports use, steel became the main material during development. To reduce weight and improve maneuverability (what distinguishes all Irbises), a tubular design was used.

  • Another technological feature that was supposed to reduce weight, and therefore help the rider control the “iron horse,” was thin plastic. However, it was a miscalculation by the developers and if the frame can withstand falls, then the plastic has to be changed regularly.
  • The suspension is carried out according to the standard design - an inverted telescope fork in front, a pendulum on one spring at the rear (a very stiff spring). But even such an ordinary design gives rise to criticism - the bike’s pendulum is frankly rather weak. This also includes the lack of ability to adjust any settings. And also the fact that the progression of the rear part depends only on the pitch of the springs (which probably should have affected the reduction in the cost of the motorcycle).

Exterior

Front fork.

Rear tire mark on the ground.

Powerful rear tires.

Front end

  • The first glance at the front part does not raise any questions. A fender pulled up just under the frame, and a small piece of plastic into which a small square headlight is inserted. According to users, it provides light, but it is not clear where it is directed.
  • A sporty horned bullet on clip-ons and, as a continuation of the plastic, a small panel that, in theory, should cover the missing (on the cross-country) instrument panel.
  • A more picky user will notice that the angle of rotation of the wing covers the front part of the bike, but the dirt raised by the wheel flies directly onto the air vent.

Ignition.

Front view.

Another perspective.

Control knob on the right. Starter button and engine stops.

Air intake for engine cooling.

Devices

However, most resources have diagrams for installing a bicycle computer as an hour meter.

Back view

Long, sporty-sharp stem, long distance to the saddle, which is not designed for long-term sitting. And in front of him there is a large “lamb” under his arm - the gas tank cap.

  • The capacity of the latter is 8 liters. For sports equipment that will live most of the time in the team’s garage, they did not separate a reserve.
  • To the delight of the neighbors, there is no flute in the muffler, there is direct flow. The can itself hangs on the right side at approximately the level of the wheel hub.

Flaws

  • The plastic is quite fragile and often cracks when dropped. And enduro bikes in their natural habitat, that is, in forests and fields, fall quite often.
  • When driving for a long time in 1st or 2nd gear, for example, in liquid and sticky mud, the Irbis TTR 250 engine can overheat. Although there is no need to fear critical damage - long before the moment when a loud blow can be heard from the engine, marking the death of the motorcycle, the engine will begin to spread such heat around itself that it will simply be impossible not to notice it.
  • The high seat height imposes certain restrictions - short riders may find the Irbis TTR 250 uncomfortable.
  • The standard chain quickly stretches and becomes unusable. However, this problem can be easily eliminated once and for all by replacing the chain with something suitable in terms of parameters, but Japanese.

What's new

In 2014, an updated version of the sports “crosser” - the Irbis TTR 250 motorcycle - entered the domestic market for the sale of specialized bikes. According to experts, this model is in no way inferior to similar types of Japanese representatives in this class, except for the price. Quite powerful and at the same time relatively light, this unit is considered a very prominent representative of enduro. Beginners to this type of motorsport note excellent handling, which allows them to easily learn how to perform simple feints and tricks.

This model, unlike its predecessors, has a universal suspension that will make you feel equally comfortable both on rough off-road terrain and on city streets. The Irbis TTR 250 motorcycle is equipped with all the necessary lighting equipment to drive on public roads without any problems. The update also affected the possibility of a quick start - now an electric start button for the engine has been added to the control handle.

Main competitors of the GR 250

  • Stels 300 Benelli and Benelli 600. Chinese-made road bike with excellent technical characteristics and a modern design with aggressive notes. The Irbis is inferior in price - the Russian bike is several times cheaper than its competitor from China.
  • Genata YZF 250. A Chinese motorcycle that belongs to the class of sport bikes, but is not one: from a technical point of view, it can safely be classified as a road bike.
  • Honda CB 250F Hornet. One of the most popular small-capacity bikes with a high-powered engine, which, coupled with its low weight, provides unsurpassed dynamics. Despite excellent reviews, the short service life of the engine and the considerable age of the model affect the technical condition, which significantly complicates the search for models on the secondary market in at least acceptable condition.

Assembly Guide

  1. Installation of the front fork.
  2. Installation of steering wheel and controls.
  3. Battery installation.
  4. Screwing the wheels.
  5. Installation of shields and plastic panels.
  6. Installation of shock absorbers.

In any case, buying an SUV of this type, you will not regret the investment. After all, if you wish, you can spin any figure eight on it, cut snow and mud, and even with certain training, engage in sports motorcycle acrobatics.

Motorcycle IRBIS TTR 110

Description IRBIS TTR 110

The IRBIS TTR110 pit bike is one of the most interesting models of the Irbis company; thanks to its simple and reliable design, it has won the hearts of many, many young drivers. The automatic transmission will allow even a beginner who has no experience driving two-wheeled vehicles to drive the TTR110.

Excellent performance in dynamics and off-road allows the TTR110 to remain among the leaders in terms of sales. The Irbis TTR110, having a small size and weighing only 64 kilograms, allows you to transport itself without using a car trailer, while still fitting into the trunk of a passenger car.

It will not be difficult to operate it, both for an adult and a teenager. The TTR110 pit bike combines not only low cost, but also amazing endurance. The motorcycle is suitable for riders no taller than 180 cm, as the saddle height is only 678 mm.

Irbis TTR110 model 2012 does not have a title and does not require registration with the traffic police, and also does not require category “A” rights; upon purchase, a refusal letter from the government of the Russian Federation and a DCP is issued. The IRBIS TTR110 pit bike is not intended for riding on public roads; in other words, it was created specifically for prepared tracks and trails.

But these restrictions in no way reduce the functionality of its use; there are no barriers to it outside public roads. Mud, snow, swamp, forest, sand and hard-to-reach places are no problem for the TTR110. Ideal for family outdoor recreation and training novice drivers.

Powerful four-stroke engine with a volume of 110 cc and 6.5 hp. easily accelerates the TTR110 to 75 km/h. Fuel tank capacity 3 liters, AI-92 gasoline. Average fuel consumption is 2 liters per 100 km.

The automatic transmission allows maximum use of engine power with optimal rotation speed and automatic smooth gear shifting in accordance with changes in the load on the motorcycle. This makes it easier to control the motorcycle, especially on rough terrain, and significantly increases the safety of its operation. Remember that operating a TTR110 motorcycle requires attention and good physical fitness from the driver. We also must not forget about the need to use protective equipment.

The Irbis TTR110 has become a real master class for the younger generation in mastering the skills of driving a motocross motorcycle. The average time to assemble out of the box is from 1.0 to 1.5 hours, all necessary tools are included.

Irbis ttr 250 engine tuning

So, good day everyone! To some, happy season, to others, to a speedy season! This is a continuation post based on this: Tyk

Finally got around to it and had time to put TyTyrchik in order (yeah, it’s time for the season XD). There were no major alterations, other than some minor filing of the frame. In principle, all the Chinese (Irbis for sure) are guilty of a very poor body kit and inattention to detail, but with the engine, carbs and gearbox, everything seems to be fine with them, according to my observations and readings of thematic forums. If you are interested, read on... The picture is purely to dilute the text, you can’t see any special alterations on it =)

What we have in the source:

1) Construction set “IRBIS TTR 250 2013” 2) The desire to make a motorcycle out of it for muddying and fun off-road rides 3) Almost straight hands, creative thinking and help from people

Which units require improvement:

1) Plastic (+ tail part of the frame) The plastic here is complete crap, very fragile and in places too thin. For some reason, the frame at the back is too long and goes right under the wing (apparently a rudiment from another version of the TTR250, where the ability to carry a passenger is present). We delete it, but more on that later. Photo for now (already sawed off): 2) Steering column and steering wheel spacers There is no protection (seal) on the bottom of the steering column and all the lubricant from it slowly crawls out and crawls away in an unknown direction (there is a way to solve the problem, but haven’t gotten around to it yet) .Unfortunately, there are no photos, but I think you can imagine for yourself. And also the steering spacers are attached to the traverse in an ugly way, but you remember this from the last post: 3) All the levers and legs + footrests There’s nothing to say, silumin and that’s it. And the footrests are slippery

4) Chain, sprockets, chain guard and drive sprocket cover The chain, like all Chinese chains, stretches like rubber. The sprockets are quite good, but I wanted a bigger rear one (but no luck, I can’t find a good Japanese analogue so that it fits on the same seats, well, what the heck with them). The sprocket cover is not particularly needed, and dirt gets clogged under it along with the grass, let's cut off a piece. The chain guard has fallen apart and is flimsy. Let's insert a piece of sheet steel into it and rivet it, it will be great. The chain roller is bent and the bearings in it are dead, they are jammed, we will replace them. New bearings: 5) Headlight What happened to it everyone remembers?))) So this is exactly what had to be repaired and strengthened with normal materials, and not with thin and flimsy plastic. More on this later.

6) Battery location and wiring Well, there’s actually a seam there... you open the seat, and there the wiring is somehow lying there and the battery is stuck in there so that it’s not clear how to remove it without disassembling the floor of the motorcycle. At the same time, the terminals are not closed well and the electrolyte is flowing... a terrible picture... brrr Everything is put in order. Everything seems... phew

What was purchased:

I’ll make a reservation right away that not all the components that require improvement have yet been brought to mind and to their logical conclusion, therefore not everything has been purchased yet and only a small part is shown in the photo.

A Delta battery to replace the old one, new handles and gearbox foot, front and rear fenders from a Yamaha yzf 250, oil, bearings for the chain roller... the rest was either simply changed, or I already had.

Parameters and characteristics

The Chinese did not reinvent the wheel, but followed the beaten path - they took time-tested components, built a tubular steel frame and hung everything necessary on it. The road brother in the GR 250 line gave the TTR 250 its single-cylinder air-cooled engine, once diligently copied by the Chinese from one of the old Japanese engines. The picture is completed by a 5-speed gearbox, carburetor, 8-liter gas tank and good suspension. The brakes are also good - there is a disc on each wheel. Considering the modest weight of the motorcycle (only 120 kg), their efficiency is more than enough for confident braking. In general, we can say that the characteristics of the Irbis TTR 250 fully correspond to its cost.

Large wheels allow the bike to cope with uneven surfaces that await the motorcyclist outside of paved roads, and the toothy standard tires literally bite into the ground, preventing the motorcycle from losing traction. True, for short-legged bikers, the seat on the Irbis TTR 250 may not seem very comfortable due to the high height of the saddle - alas, this is the price for the large free travel of the suspension.

Speaking of pendants, they are really good. So good that you wouldn’t even expect to find them on the budget Chinese enduro Irbis TTR 250 R Cross. And even if they do not have full adjustments, they are extremely effective at absorbing any shocks. The motorcycle is equipped with an inverted telescopic fork at the front, and a classic monoshock absorber at the rear. If the motorcyclist is very heavy, and the TTR 250 fork breaks through bumps, you can try pouring more viscous fork oil into it - this will add rigidity

But here it is important not to overdo it, otherwise the oil after half an hour of active driving may foam and ask to come out, squeezing out the seals

Behavior

Innovations affected the front and rear wheels, which were equipped with disc brakes that respond to the slightest press of the corresponding lever. The Irbis TTR 250 gearbox, reviews of which can be found in large numbers, switches with increased accuracy. The reinforced chain transmits full engine power to the rear wheel of the unit. The dashboard design has been redesigned to add a bit of spunk to the overall look, while the new tachometer will indicate exactly when to shift for maximum acceleration.

The motorcycle is equally stable on absolutely any road surface, be it mud, sand, snow or water. This became possible after the base model began to be produced with a deep tread of specialized off-road tires. The modernized suspension and high ground clearance of the new Irbis TTR 250 model contribute to the complete absorption of various potholes and irregularities on the road.

Corrosion resistance

The original chain rarely lasts long.

Rusty mono-shock absorber and swingarm elements.

Even the carburetor rusts

The frame is poorly processed, the seams begin to rust before you drive 5 hours. The twist here is that every frame is different. For some, the rust will come out immediately, for others the frame will last for quite a long time.

Front end

The front fender is raised high under the headlight, as befits a motorcycle of this class.

The front of the bike corresponds to the concepts of the enduro class.

  • The headlight is present, but, like all representatives of the class, it only illuminates the road in front of the front tire well.
  • The upper part of the body kit is tilted towards the rider, but this is more to protect the instruments from dirt than the driver.

The headlight is turned on using a regular toggle switch on the left handle. The ignition key is inserted at the bottom of the gas tank under the right hand.

Dashboard

The dashboard is designed in a minimalist style.

You won’t find a large number of devices using this technology. There is one large speedometer dial in front of the driver. Interestingly, there are marks in both km and miles.

If desired, you can install a cycling computer.

The tachometer is made in the form of a small LCD display hidden under the general speedometer glass.

Rear end

The inconvenience of sitting only appears on long trips.

  • There is enough space for two passengers; there is no division into driver/passenger.
    But the owners note that although it is possible to sit together, it is better to drive alone - the engine does not pull. Although the developers claim the opposite - no amenities are provided for the second room, no handles, no footrests, and (especially) a backrest. The design of the motorcycle is definitely designed for a single rider.
  • There is a small stem behind the saddle, but it is more likely designed as a mudguard; it has no practical use. And the location of the exhaust is almost nearby, forcing you to abandon the seat or trunk arrangement.
  • An interesting idea in the design section is to paint the side edges of the saddle in the color of the main plastic.
  • The plant offers two colors for the bike - black and red. The first has all the parts in the same tone with the exception of the chrome exhaust pipe. The second has plastic and the side edges of the saddle in red tones.
  • There are no optics at the rear.
    The back is without any lights.

Gas tank

The neck of the gas tank is in a standard place, made in the form of a large black cap with a “wing” under the arm. Fuel capacity - 3.2 liters.

Availability

How much does the Irbis TTR 250 cost? The price at which it is proposed to purchase this motorcycle, depending on the configuration, varies from 65 to 75 thousand rubles and is available to all social strata of society. In appearance, this is almost an adult enduro, which can be used for any tourist travel: fishing, to the forest to pick mushrooms, or just to ride along the local ravines. For extreme sports enthusiasts, it will be no less useful, since the working potential is calculated on the opportunity to learn professional tricks with it.

However, we should not forget that prolonged load on the main parts of the Irbis TTR 250 unit, the price of which is quite affordable, can lead to premature breakdown and failure. Therefore, experts recommend observing all the required norms and rules when operating the device, carrying out mandatory after-sale engine running-in, scheduled maintenance, etc. In this case, you will receive a wonderful “iron horse” that will serve you reliably for a long time.

Who is this bike suitable for?

This model is initially positioned by the manufacturer as an off-road bike - for this purpose it is equipped with special tires that provide reliable traction between the wheel and the road. But they are not intended for asphalt roads, but if you do a little tuning of the Irbis TTR 125, you can use the pit bike for urban use. An important point is its full registration with government authorities as a vehicle - for this it is necessary to install turning lamps, mirrors and brake lights on the bike. This modification can please fans of free driving in places where there are no roads and never were. If you look at a review of this model on the Internet, you can see that the design is as simple as possible, but its degree of reliability is quite high. The seat is not particularly suitable for long trips, even though it is soft

Motorcycle enthusiasts should pay special attention to the build quality, since it is shipped from China disassembled and assembled in Russia in small factories. After purchase, you need to check the fastenings, lubrication of the main components and assemblies and the functionality of the motorcycle

The main advantages of the Irbis Dingo T110 snowmobile:

  1. The standard equipment includes an electric starter and a 7-amp gel battery. If necessary, the snowmobile can be started from the “pusher”.
  2. The clutch operates in an oil bath for better reliability and minimal wear of parts.
  3. The gearbox has built-in reverse (reverse), which increases maneuverability and ease of movement in tight areas. For example, thanks to reverse, you can “crawl” out of a snowdrift without any problems. To do this, just turn on the reverse gear and drive back along your own trail.
  4. Wide tracks mounted on a hybrid suspension not only improve cross-country ability, but also increase load capacity. As a result, the vehicle is capable of carrying up to 500 kg of cargo. A suspension with such tracks is characterized by maneuverability, strength, smoothness and softness on uneven roads. There will also be no inconvenience at a 30-degree elevation.
  5. The track material is rubber-fabric on a cast basis, reinforced with steel rods and Kevlar material. These components highlight the durability of the track, which excels over obstacles such as bumps, depressions and branches.
  6. The Irbis Dingo T110 snowmobile uses an ATV chain as a drive chain. This chain has a triple safety margin.
  7. The presence of an electronic speedometer allows you to display information not only about speed and mileage, but also the remaining time until the next maintenance.
  8. Hydraulic disc brakes are standard.
  9. Ability to connect external accessories and gadgets (using a 12V cigarette lighter)
  10. Double saddle configuration for driver and passenger. The width varies between 35-45 cm. The seat has a spacious trunk in which you can place an ice auger, skis, tents, as well as other hunting and tourist equipment.
  11. Options include a car park that allows you to tow trailers, which are equipped with built-in tail lights. If necessary, a case and an additional container with gasoline are installed in the rear of the snowmobile. It is also possible to install roll bars and a special instrument panel.
  12. The Irbis Dingo T110 snowmobile has a durable frame structure, reinforced with profile pipes. The pipes are made in the form of a central and side truss - this arrangement ensures that ice and snow never accumulate in it - both during winter thaw, and during spring melting, as well as when driving in deep snowdrifts.
  13. The function of adjusting the height of the steering wheel, as well as the ability to change the angle of the longitudinal axis of the skis, is the prerogative of the basic configuration, aimed at improving maneuverability and controllability. In addition, thanks to the rational adjustment of the working steering elements, the driver is less distracted and tired when driving for many hours.
  14. To strengthen the engine compartment of the frame, steel strips are installed, which makes it possible to equip the snowmobile with more powerful motors of a certain weight, up to 85 kg.
  15. The maximum speed is 40 km/h. Since the engine displacement exceeds 100 cc. m., there is a need to register with Gostekhnadzor.
  16. The manufacturer provides a warranty of six months or 1000 kilometers.

Design solutions

The two-seater rear-wheel drive Irbis 250 ATV can be used on any terrain at any time of the year , which fully corresponds to the name chosen by the manufacturer - the name of the snow leopard.

Externally, an ATV from China looks impressive, solid and aggressive .

The sporty design of the body is emphasized by the angularity of the plastic parts, as well as the powerful headlight, which allows you to get around even at night or in thick fog.

The bright colors of the model (blue, green, red and black with white trim) also hint at the aggressive nature of this “cat”.

The double seat of the ATV provides the driver and passenger with the greatest possible comfort, and protective pads on the steering wheel help protect against hand injuries.

Steel elements with anti-corrosion coating and frost-resistant plastic of the all-terrain vehicle panels are perfectly adapted for use in adverse conditions, which guarantees their long service life in any operating mode.

Advantages

  • pistons with wear-resistant Teflon coating;
  • ceramic heat-resistant coating of cylinders;
  • enlarged carburetor diffuser for forced engine operation;
  • adjustable ignition timing, allowing you to tune the engine to different operating modes and types of gasoline;
  • double winding ignition coil;
  • enlarged valves in the cylinder head, ensuring durability in the operation of the distribution mechanism;
  • carburetor petal valves, which save fuel and increase power by filtering the mixture from exhaust gases.

The valve springs of the IRBIS TTR 250 motorcycle are made using galvanic coating technology with a stainless steel compound. The engine weight is reduced due to aluminum flywheels. Increased clutch reliability is ensured by two sets of springs of different elasticity.

Price

The model has been in production for several years and has primarily established itself as a budget and powerful SUV. Ibris TTR 250 spare parts have a relatively low price, as does the total cost of the motorcycle. On the Internet, they are asking 96,200 rubles for a new Irbis TTR 250 2014 model year. As you already know, the situation in the country is quite difficult, so the price may rise, if it has not already risen. But still, compared to other, more expensive models with similar characteristics, this motorcycle has a competitive price.

Be careful when purchasing, because some motorcycles are delivered directly in the box, and if you buy such a model, you will have difficulties in assembling. Be sure to assemble everything correctly and tighten the bolts to the permissible standard, otherwise something will fall off during first use.

Advantages: This motorcycle is meant for use in rural areas and difficult to pass places.

Disadvantages: When buying directly from the store, I drove to the house, on the way I discovered that the motorcycle was jerking and the fuel supply was constantly interrupted, and after stopping, gasoline was drained through the tube in considerable quantities. The service never solved the problem, without dealing with the carburetor, they simply replaced it with a new one + replaced the spark plug. In general, the spark plugs get dirty quite heavily and quickly, apparently the fuel and air supply is incorrectly calculated. Then the motorcycle simply stalled - as it turned out, the breather on the gas cap was clogged...

Review: An enduro motorcycle, not a cross-country bike, as the seller and manufacturer claim. The fact is that a weak chassis (frame, suspension) and selection of stars will not allow you to seriously race on the track. The destiny of this motorcycle is to “mess shit” in rural areas and difficult to pass places. The motorcycle cannot develop serious speed, because the 12-tooth drive sprocket provides powerful traction, but completely kills speed. The gears are short, as the instructions say 1-up to 20 km/h, 2-up to 30 km/h, 3-up to 40 km/h, 4-up to 50 km/h, all... More

Comfort and handling

The all-terrain vehicle is monitored through an electronic instrument panel, which reflects the main operating parameters of the on-board systems and mechanisms, and to prevent theft, the manufacturer has installed a standard alarm system. Excellent handling of the IRBIS 250 model is ensured by a comfortable steering wheel, an improved suspension designed to withstand significant loads, powerful steering joints, as well as a foot brake pedal, which allows you to instantly respond to an unexpected barrier or obstacle.

Among other things, many owners may like the presence of a cigarette lighter socket, from which they can “power” various gadgets, not to mention its intended purpose.

The chassis provides for the installation of off-road tires of size 21×7.00-10 and 20×10.00-9 at the front and rear, respectively.

Such rubber allows you to move on any type of soil and not get stuck in mud or sand.

Controllability

Do not try to reach exorbitant speeds with this vehicle, especially on asphalt surfaces, since this is not a “roundabout”, but a reliable “off-road conqueror”. Starting from 60–70 km/h, the Irbis TTR 250 motorcycle “floats” slightly because the rubber has long flexible hooks. They are designed only for unpaved areas where the tires have the ability to maintain a stable course direction.

When you hit a concrete base, the tread loses its benefits, so at high speed you will have to work not only with the steering wheel, but with your entire body to maintain balance when accelerating to 100 km/h. The smooth shock-absorbing stroke of the front fork effectively absorbs all uneven areas on city routes. However, it behaves completely differently when you find yourself on soft grassy soil - you are guaranteed an indescribable feeling of a kind of gliding in pursuit of the wind.

Main technical parameters

The TTR 125 R modification is quite popular - it allows the biker to get a fairly powerful motorcycle used for off-road use. The frame is made of steel tubes, which reduces the weight of the structure, but provides the necessary level of strength and rigidity. The front suspension is implemented using an inverted telescopic tube, the rear suspension is a pendulum-type monoshock absorber. The use of a hydraulic braking system and brake brakes makes it possible to ensure the necessary level of traffic safety and emergency braking (provided the system is in good condition). The use of spoked wheels allows for a slight reduction in the overall weight of this model.

Flaws

However, the bike has few disadvantages:

  1. The chain stretches quickly. Can be replaced with a suitable Japanese version (according to reviews - Xonda SV250 and other variations of the SV line).
  2. The quality of electrics is a standard problem for the Chinese, but you can re-arrange or corrugate them yourself.
  3. Weak plastic and suspension are the main problems, but cannot be solved.
  4. Starter. Try to find a second-hand model with a working electric starter. It will be hard. The design is flawed; the gear that transmits force from the starter to the engine breaks. Standard problem.

Sometimes there is a high seating position, but for an off-road bike this is the norm.

and dignity

Small jump. I'm doing it. The editor-in-chief is trying the “250 tyr-tyr” thing.

Some of the advantages include:

  1. good motor (unpretentious and pulling);
  2. ease of maintenance;
  3. low fuel consumption.

In addition, you can add what distinguishes Chinese models:

  1. price;
  2. maintainability;
  3. large selection of components.

Technical characteristics of Irbis TTR 250

Despite its Chinese production, Irbis has already won many fans thanks to its low price and excellent technical characteristics. The customer will receive an excellent build that will help you jump and ride your motorcycle quickly. To better handle uneven surfaces, it was decided to install high-quality shock absorbers.

Many people complain about the high seating position, but this drawback is compensated by the excellent design, which is based on a welded steel frame. The result of this was good balancing and high-quality road grip.

Also, many people complain about the seat, as if it is a little uncomfortable, and it will be difficult to reach the steering wheel. Therefore, if you are tall, a moped is for you. Also, some people find the seat hard.

Manufacturer

Irbis motorcycles are considered by most motorcycle enthusiasts to be Chinese technology, although in reality this is far from the case. The Irbis brand was created in 2001 by a group of young people from Vladivostok, who set themselves the task of creating motor vehicles that would be accessible to a wide range of buyers and capable of competing with European and Japanese counterparts. As a result, the brand's first scooter was released - Irbis Z50R.

The company began to actively develop, and in 2005 the first official office for the sale of motorcycles was opened in Moscow. The dealer network began to be created in 2006, and today it includes over two thousand centers from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad, the range of which includes 30 models of Irbis motorcycles and more than five thousand types of accessories, spare parts and equipment.

Irbis motorcycles are an ideal vehicle for both experienced riders and beginners just learning to ride. The vehicles produced by the company are adapted to difficult Russian conditions and have proven their reliability in practice. It is worth noting that the latest models of Irbis motor vehicles are produced in full accordance with the wishes of customers: feedback from customers is very important for developers.
