During an external inspection and several test drives, two main problems were identified: 1. The first gear falls out when turned on, and also when switching to a lower gear from any gear, under-engagement occurs. 2. Perceptible lateral play of the right KV bearing.
After opening the clutch housing, I discovered the first traces of human presence! All the washers that are in this crankcase were completely mixed up. Even the hefty washer that should be behind the kickstarter spring was under the clutch basket! There were also spring washers for the drive star. After what I saw, I was surprised that he was still driving, but as it turned out, this was just the beginning! After opening the gearbox, traces of “picking” by the previous owner were found there. He couldn’t assemble the box correctly, something was bothering him, and he couldn’t understand what he was doing wrong. And the axles of the gear shift forks were in the way. They are fixed by the end of a metal plate, which is located behind the clutch drum. There is a groove on the axles where this plate should fit. But these troubles are for weaklings, he thought, and trimmed the rods with a grinder. After that, probably satisfied with the work done, he put everything back together. This was the end of his interference with the engine. He really didn't cheat and didn't half the block.
The cylinder was not sharpened, the piston is of the first nominal group. Perhaps I would have decided on boring if I had been confident in the quality of today's spare parts. I think he's still fit. The crankshaft has not significant, but still play in the NGSh. A double-row chain for replacement, a kickstarter shaft, and other little things. The problem arose with the crankshaft bearings: 2505KMU. These bearings are produced in Saratov and Rostov. Due to their limited applicability, they are produced in small batches, and they charge from 500 to 1000 rubles per piece. There is still a possibility that when installing a new bearing, the runout will not disappear. I decided to replace it with 3205. This is a double-row ball. It's a little wider, but with a little modification it should fit. Cost - 300 RUR/piece.
And the last problem - the hole in the left crankcase cover has collapsed. The bearing is inserted there by hand. I'll think here. You may have to galvanize the bearings. Everything has been washed and will be prepared for painting.
Along with the motorcycle I got my own special keys, the only thing missing is a screwdriver, but I know who has it
