But these are people who are not knowledgeable and do not strive for growth.
More and more local creative people are lured by photographs of half-naked ladies in front of their chariots, sometimes unremarkable ones. But your faithful servant will again try to surprise you with rusty, overcooked iron and garage engineering.
First, I’ll try to explain what kind of enduro it is and what “Yzh Plonita 5” has to do with it.

Why not just take a foreign car then? Why not a finished, tested and evenly welded product? Because 250 - 300 cc pepelats equivalent in power, even at a fairly advanced age, bite well. At a price. Let’s just say it’s not for everyone, especially when the financial flow flows very well into four-wheeled projects. But I’d like to have enough for two, for a change!
“Sovietcycles”, “our vulgar self-pumpers” and whatever they call them come to the rescue... After all, for modest money they can give a lot of pleasure to a novice rider, and with some modifications - even more.
The best donors for this cause are the Planets. Especially 5 and PS. So to speak, top versions of single-cylinder Izhas. Quite unpretentious, high-torque and, I would even say, reliable. The engine cranks up to 5-6 thousand for the P5 and even up to 7 for the PS, with modifications to the ignition. If you have a Ural/Dnieper, don’t damage your motorcycle! It is long-wheelbase, too heavy, prone to overheating with a highly inert cardan drive. In general, there will be less pleasure in the end. Minsk, sunrise, owl - light, compact and also suitable. But less powerful and with their own problems (many people know for sunrise boxes, etc.) Jupiter is more capricious and less reliable. IMHO - Izh Planet is the best choice.

Of course, this won’t be a chopper with parts made to order or in a workshop, I don’t have any such machines, etc., and I don’t really have any money, I mean the kind that can be spent decently on motorcycles. So often I simply deprive myself of some pleasures and invest my money in spending money. These are not too big expenses, but the main thing here seems to me to be the result. And I will bring it to mind! But then I’ll think about the heavy weight.

I found a new still sealed crankcase in the corner of my grandfather’s garage, it was lying in a box, sealed for about 20 years, I took the cover off from there and installed it for myself, it looks nicer.
A clash of times
The interior is undoubtedly the most striking element (or rather, even an ensemble) of the “heeled” tuning Izh 2715 pickup. You won't find anything else like it. The panels are made using exclusive fiberglass molds. The technology, on the one hand, is simple and has long been known, but the art lies not only in coming up with a new look for an old thing, but in manufacturing it so that the part falls into place as if it were original - as if it was there. Naturally, all elements must be precisely adjusted, and most importantly, be in harmony with themselves and the overall interior/exterior. But this is art. The work of transforming the inner world of the “heel” was carried out by the master of the design studio, who has dozens of interiors, body kits and other styling elements under his belt.
But even for him it took more than a week and a half from the sketch to the materialization of individual interior elements. Some stylistic decisions will certainly seem familiar, for example, a large round “Mini Cooper Style” multi-device located in the middle of the dashboard, which is supported by toggle switches installed on the dash. It can be assumed that the interior was made green for a reason. Made in the same color scheme as the body, it not only creates a certain harmony, but also gives rise to a feeling of solidity of the structure. But let’s leave the realm of subtle matters and return to the real world.
So, as you know, the body of the Izh 2715 pickup truck is not optimal for building an acoustic stage in it. Hatchback bodies are best suited for these purposes, as they resemble a megaphone. We remembered the lifeguards on the beach - “don’t swim behind the buoys!” So, in order for the acoustics to play properly, the interior had to be designed taking into account the location of the acoustics, or rather, speakers and a subwoofer had to be integrated into the interior.
This turned out to be not so simple, because the volume of the pickup truck’s cabin is small. However, this task was successfully completed. Although there is no doubt, in the body of an IZH “combi” or “Moskvich-2141” the selected acoustic components would certainly play differently. But it is unlikely that inside large-volume bodies it would be possible to create a small, cozy world in which elements of the present would be intertwined - electric windows and fashionable devices and the past - original door handles and an original steering wheel. Dmitry flatly refused to change it, because it makes it possible, while in the present, to touch the past...
