ATVs suzuki kingquad 750 kingquad
A true embodiment of the classic sports car model from the Suzuki family. This car is equipped with a 398cc four-stroke engine. cm with an electronic fuel injection system, which uses an injector with 12 nozzles. The power unit developed in this way reacts much more dynamically to the gas, and driving it in off-road conditions is smoother, even while maintaining the sporty qualities of the car.
The Quad King received a redesigned frame, which is a more rigid element, which provides greater stability when cornering and jumping. The 5-speed gearbox with reverse gear allows you not only to drive aggressively, but also to check other useful characteristics of the vehicle during extreme off-road conditions. The rear and front suspension, steering wheel and feet are adjustable, allowing the vehicle to be tailored to the driver's individual preferences. And the contoured seat helps you better control the car during the madness.
KingQuad 400 ASi 4x4
For all the enthusiasts, Suzuki presents one of the smallest utility ATVs on the ATV market. This is a vehicle for traveling through difficult terrain. Good performance and reliability in field conditions are ensured by a 376 cm3 four-cylinder engine with SOHC timing and 4WD.
Distinctive features are:
- T-shaped seat,
- wings with high ground clearance,
- characteristic headlights,
- radiator grille,
- 25-inch tires with an aggressive two-stage tread pattern for excellent traction,
- low performance and noise.
The ATV features independent double wishbone front suspension with class-leading 17 cm of wheel travel for a comfortable ride on any terrain. The use of a lightweight undercarriage plate and bumper guard gives the vehicle maximum protection with minimal frictional resistance when driving over rocks and other obstacles.
The KingQuad transmission allows the driver to choose between two operating modes: two-wheel drive (2WD) or four-wheel drive (4WD). Thanks to the use of a limited slip front differential, the Quad will satisfy the user with its grip and smooth steering, especially in tight turns.
The Suzuki KingQuad 400 ASi 4x4 combines comfort and practicality with sporting capabilities. Its aggressive appearance and the best technical solutions confirm its high value and leading position in the middle class. The car is distinguished by its exceptional off-road courage.
Suzuki QuadSport Z 400
The sports ATV has a modern look, which is due to the new design. The engine is more powerful and the new carburetor provides quicker throttle response and improved power characteristics, especially in the high rpm range. Following the increase in power, the number of clutch drive plates has been increased from 8 to 9. This change improves clutch feel.
New aluminum alloy shift pedal to reduce weight and lighter shift lever. The cylinder head cover and clutch are made from light alloy to reduce weight and enhance product appeal.
The front bumper and rear handle are made of aluminum alloy to reduce weight and enhance the product's attractiveness. Front shock absorbers with expansion tanks absorb shock better and have more precise adjustment, which improves traction.
398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve, DOHC engine. cm, made of aluminum alloy, provides high power and torque throughout the entire speed range. High compression ratio of 11.3, large diameter intake and exhaust valves, lightweight valve timing, high fill ratio, race-proven Suzuki SCEM electroplated composite cylinder and a reinforced forged aluminum alloy piston.

Endurance and permeability
A TERRIBLE muddy road 150 miles from Moscow promised interesting driving. Before plunging into the “off-road” abyss, I roll the ATV off the trailer. A “test” acquaintance with any equipment usually begins with the transmission. The quality of how well it is made and how well it works is the hallmark of any vehicle, whether it has two or four wheels. I move the control lever. By clearly clicking on the plastic “comb”, which limits and at the same time fixes the strokes of the lever, I turn on the “Drive” mode. The mechanism works in a Suzuki-like manner and makes a good impression.
The injection engine, despite the light frost, starts with half a turn. The variator moves the ATV smoothly and slowly. It is felt that the gear ratio in the transmission is selected in such a way that it is possible to drive off-road with tension. However, the Suzuki designers tried to achieve from the all-terrain vehicle not only cross-country ability, but also endurance and reliability. That’s why the “700 KingQuad” variator is reinforced with an additional support with a bearing in the area of the large cone of the variator (“sore spot” of any ATV, constantly experiencing high loads). As a motorcycle habit, I turn on all the lights that are available: on an ATV, the headlight and headlights in the wings light up - so that hares in the field do not crawl under the wheels..
I point the ATV towards the horizon. The device readily grinds dirt. Now he is driving forward on one rear wheel drive. Good cross-country ability in this mode is provided primarily by tires with a pronounced off-road character.
Before a difficult section, I press down the red button on the steering wheel. The “4x4” mode is activated. It seems that the ATV is not driving, but is slowly walking across the field. Bumps and holes, ruts and some holes made the ATV skew from side to side, but the tires always maintained contact with the ground. A completely independent suspension allows each wheel to work out the terrain “individually,” and fairly soft and long-stroke shock absorbers in most cases allow the tire to “reach” the ground without hanging in the air. A “side effect” of this soft independent chassis is good driving comfort on broken dirt roads. “The other side of the coin”: even in rear-wheel drive mode, you don’t really want to drive recklessly, taking turns in a sporty way quickly. In such cases, the all-terrain vehicle rolls deeply... Maybe we should reconfigure the suspension? However, more on this a little later.
Ahead is a difficult climb, intersected by several ditches. I raise the black “flag” with my right thumb, which now blocks the recessed all-wheel drive button from accidental shutdown. And most importantly, the front differential is now locked. Even though the steering wheel has become “wooden”, even though the all-terrain vehicle doesn’t listen to it very readily, but now its off-road arsenal is being used to the maximum.
It is advisable to use the front lock only to overcome particularly difficult areas, and then turn it off. And the transmission will wear out less, and driving in this mode, when the ATV practically does not obey the steering wheel, is below average pleasure.
An additional insurance when traveling off-road can be a winch, which is offered as an additional equipment for the “KingQuad”. Since we are talking about options, I personally would order a passenger seat for this Suzuki. It is installed instead of the trunk and can be used as... a large luggage case. But if you take out the middle of this case, you will get a large chair with armrests.

Test drive SuzukiKing Quad 500
Once upon a time, Suzuki was at the forefront of the global all-terrain vehicle front.
After all, it was the engineers of this company who were the first to attach a fourth wheel to a three-wheeled SUV in 1982. This is how the progenitor of the entire ATV industry appeared.
Currently, Suzuki is not actively fighting for primacy in the ATV market. A scary all-terrain vehicle (like all similar vehicles of that time) called KingQuad with a motor of only 280 cm3 appeared at Suzuki already in 1991. The latest generation of KingQuad was released in 1995. The ancestor of the family was the KingQuad 700 model, which at the time of its appearance occupied a leading position in terms of its technical characteristics. Over the past six years, competitors (mainly Canadians and Americans) have not only caught up with Suzuki, but have also gone far ahead. The Japanese (by the way, not only Suzuki) don’t seem to be worried at all. Taking a wait-and-see approach, they do not participate in the race to increase the power of the engines of their all-terrain vehicles, do not experiment with two-seater models, and do not release exclusive versions of ATVs prepared for trophy raids and races in the mud.
It’s a paradox, but despite everything (archaic design, single-seater, poor equipment) Japanese ATVs, and in particular Suzuki, are still popular and in demand. The secret is simple - amazing reliability of the units and no technical experiments, for which the client sometimes has to pay. This is probably why the Suzuki KingQuad 700 was the latest to have a fuel injection system and power steering. Well, now, along with the flagship model, these devices have acquired a younger brother - KingQuad 500 AXi. Although in fairness it must be said that the injector on the “five hundred” has been in place for several years now, but the Power Steering electric power steering system is truly a new product.
From the previous KingQuad LT-A500XP, the new KingQuad 500 AXi model is practically no different in either its external design, chassis design, or dimensions - well, if you do not take into account the increase in overall length by 3 cm. The wheelbase remains the same - 1285 mm, which Personally, I’m only happy: I don’t like low-power two-seater ATVs with a wheelbase like a regular bus for their clumsiness. And with what reluctance they crawl over logs, like snakes, always clinging to twigs with their bellies. Yes, the KingQuad 500 AXi engine is not impressive with its power - 45 hp. With. for a dry weight of 302 kg. It seemed as if this “quad” was crawling like a frozen snail and avoiding all the forest swamp and mud puddles. But no, if you remove all the stickers from the “five hundred”, not everyone, even an experienced ATV rider, will immediately understand that underneath it is not a 700 cc, but a 500 cc machine. Personally, I would definitely make a mistake. The starting jerk of the KingQuad 500 AXi is sharp and dynamic. Even on standard wheels with funny tires, it kneads the mud and moves forward with the tenacity of an avid trophist.
