The Alpha moped (72 cc) is the most common means of transportation among light motorcycle enthusiasts. This is due to the price of this equipment, its functionality and maintainability. Cross-country ability, speed and the small amount of fuel that is necessary to drive this vehicle put the Alpha moped (72 cubic meters) in popularity on a par with the most famous Japanese brands. This is no coincidence, because the engine that powers these light motorcycles is an exact copy of the Japanese “Cube” from, which is comparable in reliability to the AK-47. Single-cylinder engine 139 FMB with a volume of 72 cc. cm operates in all weather conditions and does not require frequent repairs or replacement of spare parts. Technical data allow the use of this vehicle in the most extreme conditions, including driving in the cold, on sand and on any off-road. This is the best light motorcycle for Russia. In rural areas, you can most often find the Alpha 72 cc moped. The photo of this model is easily recognizable. Simple and concise design, low price, good speed, maneuverability, maintainability, efficiency and a number of other advantages - this is what underlies the reputation of this type of transport.
Appearance of Alpha RX
Alpha RX is an updated version of the previous classic moped. The new moped has become more interesting and elegant in appearance. The exterior has a modern look which I liked. The tank has been updated, a two-level seat has been installed - the passenger is now slightly higher than the driver. The passenger's visibility is now better. The wings are now made of plastic, but only the front wing is painted. This already saves the wings from corrosion.
The headlight became larger than that of the classic Alpha, a serious halogen lamp was installed, and the light became brighter. The rear shock absorbers have become more advanced in shape. The motorcycle is also equipped with serious lighting equipment - front and rear lights, turn signals with sound, high and low beams, a signal and a brake light.
Very easy to use. Repair is possible with a minimum set of tools, but you will have to stock up on additional open-end wrenches: 9, 11 and 15.
It comes in two versions for sale: with a 72 cc and 110 cc engine. But lately they have been supplied partially unserviceable with a 50cc piston that will need to be upgraded. These versions of the models are called Alpha 7 and Alpha 11.
These numbers are deciphered as follows:
- 7 is an Alpha, which after modification will become a 72 cc model.
- 11 is the Alpha, which will become a 110 cc model.
Initially, these models cost like “fifty dollars” and they will not be able to drive. In any case, they will have to be modified. But according to the documents, they are like mopeds with 49.9 cubic meters and there is no need to register them with the traffic police. The only thing you need is a driver's license of any category.
How to determine the engine size of a four-stroke Chinese scooter
Very often, scooter manufacturers from China hide the engine volume of their scooters for the reason that this volume itself does not correspond to the required 49.9 cubic cm. Sometimes, even the cubic capacity is noted as 50cc, so you can essentially drive an 80-150 cc scooter and don't even know about it. A more or less experienced scooter rider will immediately determine that he has a larger engine under his seat, but it is impossible to say exactly what this volume is just by ear or eye. This all applies to four-stroke Chinese scooters and that is what we will talk about today. With Japanese scooters everything is clear and simple; even if you know the engine number, you can determine the cubic capacity of the scooter, and there will be no trick here, since Japanese manufacturers, like European ones, indicate the engine capacity exactly to the tenth of a cubic meter. To determine the piston volume of your Chinese scooter, all you need is a caliper. Naturally, these readings will be approximate, since not all engines have the same piston stroke, hence the diameter for the same volumes may differ slightly. But for the most part, most Chinese scooters are equipped with precisely these pistons, the diameter of which is indicated in the table.

When they became cops, they had computers implanted in their heads, fortunately there was plenty of space left over from the cops.
