Distinctive features of this ATV are:
- Power point. The SF Moto 800 model has a completely new V-shaped power unit with two cylinders. The working volume of these two cylinders is 800 cubic meters, which is indicated in the name of the ATV. The engine used is capable of developing a rated output power of 63 horsepower, which allows the equipment to cope with almost all tasks. It should be noted that the model is one of the most powerful not only among its line, but also among the wide range of ATVs produced by other manufacturers.
- New fuel system. The ATV has a DELPHI fuel injection system. Many other machines are equipped with this system. This is because the system ensures an even supply of fuel and minimizes the occurrence of sudden engine failures.
- Ignition system. In order to ensure increased efficiency, the manufacturer equipped the ATV with electronic ignition timing control. In addition to reduced fuel consumption, the engine has become much more efficient, which is especially appreciated when driving off-road.
SF Moto 800 has gained very great popularity among extreme recreation enthusiasts all over the world. And for good reason, because in addition to its excellent technical characteristics, this car is also distinguished by its convenience, both in terms of control and driving. Control was influenced by the presence of electric power steering EPS (Electric Power Steering). Thanks to such a system, the driver does not need to exert much effort to carry out any maneuvers at any speed. This amplifier also has a positive effect on shock damping when driving off-road. The second advantage, namely riding comfort, is ensured in this ATV thanks to the modernized independent suspension, which has a fairly high energy intensity.
The model also features a fairly ergonomic design that provides easy access to almost all elements and components of the ATV, and therefore maintenance will not cause any particular difficulties.

- I didn’t like the CF MOTO CF 800 X8 ATV, for many reasons. The model is very heavy, unfinished, the iron elements are weak, prone to overturns, and if you tilt it on its side and the engine is still running, you will have to spend money on engine repairs, since the liners turn very easily. Because of its features, the crankshaft itself cannot be sharpened; you have to buy a new one, and its cost is 44 thousand rubles. The connecting rods are also not cheap; you need to pay 7 thousand rubles for a pair. In general, the engine has many shortcomings. There is no guarantee, although they do provide one, but if something happens they will find any reason to refuse repairs. It cost me 5 thousand rubles for routine maintenance, which I consider expensive. There are also unfinished brakes, which only work properly for the first 500 kilometers; later the pads need to be changed.
- The model is very cool. During the first 600 kilometers, I didn’t even think that the ATV was capable of much more. Having removed the restriction, I was surprised for a long time. The vehicle pulls perfectly over almost the entire range, is very dynamic and fast. I especially liked the design of the model, which really came out original and memorable. The cladding is quite high quality, and the plastic itself is impact-resistant and durable. In winter, I traveled almost all day on weekends. In mild frosts the engine starts quite easily. I had a chance to ride other models, but this one, in my opinion, is much better, both in terms of control and dynamics. Still, it’s not for nothing that the CF 800 X8 is considered a flagship model.

Here is a review of a new all-terrain vehicle from a Chinese company - CF800-U8. The first impression of the 800 is “it’s a small car!”
Indeed, the side-by-side layout, in which the passenger and driver sit next to each other, and not behind each other, the roof, doors, steering wheel and windshield - all these are attributes of a car, not an off-road all-terrain vehicle. However, the compact dimensions, high ground clearance and body still give a reference to utilitarian all-terrain vehicles. So what did the engineers of the Middle Kingdom do? Let's figure it out.
The engine costs the same as on the CF800-X8 EFI “Terralander 800”. The liquid-cooled four-stroke V-Twin, which has long proven itself in off-road riding, not only allows you to pull the all-terrain vehicle out of mud and snow and transport heavy loads, but also gives good speed and dynamics, allowing you to accelerate to hundreds or more.
The volume of 800 cubic meters allows you to produce power of 63 hp. Electronic ignition with a digital controller, monoblock fuel injection system as on all modern cars. There is no kick starter. The transmission is, of course, automatic, switched by a lever located like in a car between the driver and passenger seats.
In addition to the gear shift lever, between the seats there is a parking brake handle and a pair of cup holders(!). There is a reduction gear and all-wheel drive with the possibility of forced differential locking.
The front suspension is independent, on double transverse A-arms with hydraulic shock absorbers. The rear is independent, on double wishbones with hydraulic shock absorbers. The suspension feels softer than that of classic quads, so going through potholes and uneven roads will be much more pleasant than on hard models like 500A or X8. However, this also entails disadvantages - this all-terrain vehicle is not suitable for jumping - the large mass and soft suspension give the expected results - when landing after lifting off the ground, the suspension breaks through and there is a possibility of very critical breakdowns. However, for thrill-seekers, there is an excellent solution for tuning the suspension, recommended by the manufacturer - shock absorbers from the Canadian company ELKA, the price of which is very affordable, and the warranty, like for Chinese products, is 2 years.
A dual-circuit hydraulic brake system is responsible for braking. There are double disc wheel brakes on both the front and rear wheels. The wheels themselves, by the way, already in the initial configuration come with 14-inch alloy wheels.
If we talk about purely ergonomic aspects, the all-terrain vehicle turned out to be incredibly comfortable! There are adjustments for the seats and even the steering wheel! There is not much space in the cabin, but even with my height over 180 it was comfortable. The roof and windshield will help you overcome bad weather. And if you remember that the U8 is an all-terrain vehicle, and not a car, then it turns out to be the most comfortable all-terrain vehicle I have ever seen! The instrument panel is located in the middle, between the driver and passenger.
The cabin is equipped with safety bars that protect passengers in the event of a rollover, plus a removable roof is attached to them, which comes as standard. Also included as standard is a removable windshield.
By the way, as for safety, the seats are equipped with seat belts, and on the passenger side there is a special bracket that you can hold on to on uneven sections of the road.
Immediately behind the cab there is a cargo body with a folding side. It is equipped with a pneumatic lift. The declared load capacity is impressive - 230 kg!
Thus, we see that the CF800-U8 is much more suitable as a workhorse in the country: in addition to a large body and a relatively high center of gravity, the ATV has a large mass, which gives much more opportunities when clearing snow, for example. The standard winch deserves special attention. With a capacity of 3500 lbs, it comes standard and has both electric and remote controls.
What can we say to sum it up? Comfortable, safe, reliable, indispensable in household work and quite suitable for traveling through forests, fields and other less extreme off-road conditions. An excellent hunting assistant. The incredibly rich basic equipment is another huge plus of this model. But for thrill-seekers, an ATV with a classic layout is certainly more suitable, for example, the closest one is the CF800-X8 EFI.
