The CF MOTO X6 ATV is a generation of all-terrain vehicles with a 600 cubic capacity power unit using an injection system.

The use of the new engine subsequently became its main feature. The CF196S motor has quite excellent performance characteristics. It uses electronic fuel injection control from the manufacturer BOSCH, which implies an increase of up to 25 percent in savings without loss of power. This system also stands out compared to other carburetor models.

But the engine is still not the only improvement in the model, since SF Moto also has several other interesting new products. The ATV's suspension includes durable aluminum arms and modern hydraulic shock absorbers. The latter were specially modified to improve reliability and other qualities when operating in Russian conditions. Their rods were additionally protected by corrugation. The standard equipment of this model is equipped with plastic protection for the driver’s hands, 26″ tires with increased lugs, a metal towbar ball, as well as a socket for connecting trailer lighting.

The equipment has excellent driving performance and driving comfort in almost any conditions, an interesting appearance and high quality at a relatively low cost, which is precisely the reason for its wide popularity.

Price

With a large number of its advantages and features, the CF MOTO X6 ATV has a fairly reasonable price, since its analogues with almost the same qualities are now more expensive.

Thus, the cost of new equipment without mileage on average varies from 270 thousand rubles to 520 thousand Russian rubles. The final cost varies depending on the year of production and configuration. At the consumer's request, the equipment can be supplied with camouflage and other colors. The price of this option in many dealership centers is about 10 thousand rubles.

A used ATV SF Moto X6, depending on its technical condition and mileage at the time of sale, has a cost ranging from 250 thousand rubles to 370 thousand Russian rubles.

Under load, the engine responds well to gas supply. Excellent torque is noted. You can feel the dynamics of acceleration, despite the fact that the TsF Moto ATV is going uphill. It goes quite easily, you feel that there is still a reserve of power and this is not all that it can do. The Bosch electronic module makes the task easier and calculates the injection parameter itself. Due to this, the engine receives the required portion of fuel and runs smoothly. After the ascent, we had to go down a steep descent, which was covered with many canals and streams. There was no need to slow down. The ATV walked completely confidently, it did not skid, and it clearly responded to steering commands.

As further tests showed, the TsF Moto ATV has excellent weight distribution, since passing through dense bushes did not cause any difficulties. If one or two wheels leave the ground, simply shifting your own weight will help the ATV regain its balance. After checking how the ATV behaves on sections of the road littered with mud and bushes, it was decided to go to the river. It is worth noting that the ATV allows you to choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The ascent and descent from the mountain, as well as overcoming the bushes, were carried out with rear-wheel drive. Most likely, it would be even easier to do at full. There was mud here too, but it seemed to be little, and it was decided to drive the TsF Moto ATV into the water up to the headlights. While the car feels the bottom, it moves quite confidently, the ATV, flooded to the hood with water, does not even think of stalling, stubbornly making its way to its goal, but having got out of the river, the vehicle still got stuck in liquid mud, from which, however, it managed to get out on its own.

I had to engage a lower gear and lock the differential. It took about 20 minutes, but the ATV finally got out without outside help. The testing of the ATV did not end there. Another passenger was added, and in total, not counting luggage, the car was loaded with 170 kg. Rear wheel drive turned on. The first road along which it was decided to send the loaded ATV was a field dug up by tractors.

After the rains, the field was greatly washed away, the potholes became wide and unsteady. However, the ATV overcame all obstacles without problems. It shakes a little, but the shock absorbers cope well with the load placed on them, and passengers do not feel discomfort or shock from stones and large pieces of hard dirt falling under the wheels. Handling remained excellent, even when the wheels were under heavy load on the sides. It is worth noting that if you are going to ride this tsf moto over potholes and boulders, as well as on forest paths in general, then the suspension needs to be set to a hard position, otherwise with soft settings the ATV starts to cling to the plastic with its wheels on bumps.

This problem resolves itself once the suspension settings are set to hard mode. The ride becomes not as comfortable as with a soft suspension, but still there is no severe discomfort. The suspension works well and does not give strong shocks to the driver and passenger. It is also worth noting the fact that after the ATV was almost completely in the water, it was turned off and started again several times, the engine started without problems. No extraneous sounds were noted. The drive belt does not slip. In general, we can say that the TsF Moto ATV passed field tests more than successfully. Initially, the prejudiced attitude towards Chinese technology was destroyed to the ground. The ATV has proven itself to be a reliable off-road vehicle capable of overcoming the most difficult routes and terrains.

It is worth saying with confidence that this ATV will be a good competitor to its European and Japanese counterparts, since, in addition to high cross-country ability and great reliability of components and assemblies, this type of equipment also has a low price relative to its competitors. The price of this Chinese SUV TF Moto is about 270 thousand rubles.

  1. My opinion about such equipment used to be very vague, for some reason it was difficult to take ATVs seriously. Then one of my friends, who lives next door, bought himself a new CF MOTO X6. I had a chance to ride on it, both as a passenger and as a driver. The car changed my mind. The ATV brought a lot of positive emotions, as it can travel almost anywhere, and its acceleration and dynamics are very high. The engine is quite powerful, at least it is completely enough for most tasks. Also, the equipment is made almost invincible off-road by all-wheel drive. A friend of mine also had a winch included in the package, although, as he says, he hasn’t used it yet, again due to the high cross-country ability. Now I’m seriously thinking about buying the same model, fortunately there is already a company for rides.
  2. This car was purchased back in 2012 at a price of 275 thousand rubles (for a new one), which is a fairly affordable price tag. Before the purchase, I was somehow wary of the country of origin; there were a lot of rumors and other things. But in reality it turned out that this was completely in vain. Over 6 years of active use, the model did not fail and performed quite well, both in the snow and in the mud. During all this time, I changed the battery, brake pads and ignition switch on the ATV. In normal maintenance we only had to change the oil and some filters. The quality is truly impressive, which is rare for Chinese cars.

ATVs of the Chinese brand CFmoto appeared in Russia only in 2008, but among users they are already considered reliable and worthy equipment in all respects, especially for their 270,000 rubles. We decided to take the CFmoto X6 medium-sized device for a long test and check whether the popular rumor is right

And so it happened. The very first ride was a mess. Having placed the “square” on a small trailer, we hooked it with a winch (it comes in the “base”), but while we were driving for half an hour in 10-degree frost to the skiing area, the winch motor froze and refused to work. Manual unwinding also did not work (perhaps there was not enough brute male strength). We barely managed to loosen the tension and pull out the pin that secured the hook to the cable... After standing in the garage for several days, the winch came to life, but we did not dare use it again in the cold. The parking brake did not work initially, which is why only two people can load the quad on the trailer: one holds the brake, the other ties the first sling. Plastic hardens and becomes brittle in the cold - it is not recommended to drop the ATV. I'm telling you exactly.

The X6 looks simple and clear. The seat is soft, one-piece for the driver and passenger. The latter is offered with a short backrest, handles and footrests that do not interfere with the driver. The digital display contains all the necessary information, which, however, is difficult to see in sunny weather. The location of the engine start button (green) is a little unusual, so at first I confused it with the engine shutdown button (orange), which is logically located next to the emergency lights and quite illogically located next to the horn: with a glove, in the mud, at speed, press all three of these at once small buttons are quite possible - and oops. But the worst thing is the transmission mode lever (LHNR): it is located close to the body, and to move it, you need to press the button with your left thumb. After an hour of driving, my finger was ready to break: the button was not always pressed, I had to press on it with both hands, and push the lever with all my might (and don’t say that ATVs are not a woman’s business, a male colleague also had difficulties with this lever!) , and the “gears” were not always switched on the first time, especially low gears. This problem is not uncommon on Chinese quads, but the button made it worse.

But the updated X6 with a new 594 cm3 engine with a power of 38 hp. With. and with an electronically controlled Bosch injector, the “base” includes hand protection, 26-gauge tires, upper suspension arms made of cast aluminum, a metal towbar ball, a trailer socket and modern hydraulic shock absorbers, taking into account “the peculiarities of operation in Russian conditions.” I don’t know what specific features the Chinese manufacturer had in mind, but in winter, on a packed snowy cross-country track, the suspension worked fine, although not perfectly. We will test it in different conditions.

Well, on the one hand, the “square” drives, jumps slightly, naturally gets stuck in deep powder, makes terrible clanging sounds when trying to slip, but has not yet caused any serious complaints, other than for the ergonomic failures described above. There are still two months of testing ahead - we'll see what happens on the other side. Difficulties of transportation A mid-size pickup truck, for example a Toyota Hilux, is suitable for transporting an ATV: the ATV is driven into the back along a special ramp (you can additionally install a winch, which will tighten the vehicle itself) and places the front wheels on the arches, and the rear wheels on the open side. Secure with slings.

However, a pickup truck is not the best option: the body will always be dirty and open to thieves and vandals, and loading a quad without a winch is a very difficult and even dangerous task. Therefore, you can attach a small trolley to the pickup truck, which is much easier to handle. Ski-Doo gear in battle, part 1 It's -10 outside. I feel like an astronaut: it’s hard to walk in boots - they hardly bend, but they protect my feet. It's comfortable to ride the quad. But it's not interesting. I bury myself in the snow and dig myself out - it gets hot and wet. But after a couple of minutes, the thermal underwear evacuates moisture from the body, and it becomes warm and dry again. The boots were the same story, although at times my feet felt a little cold. Snow can penetrate under clothing only at the collar or through the cuffs, because it is impossible to tie mittens on both hands yourself. I don’t recommend lying in the snow for a long time - you can feel the cold.
