  1. I purchased this ATV completely new in the basic configuration. At first, the model performed very well, but later some shortcomings began to appear. First of all, it was the reliability that put me in doubt, since the electric starter suddenly failed on the new equipment. Replaced it under warranty. Another weak link was the rear cargo platform, as it does not sit firmly in place and moves away a little, although perhaps I just came across such a copy. Now the car has quite a lot of mileage and besides these shortcomings I have not identified any others, but still some doubts remain, since various noises often appear.
  2. I have known Polaris for quite a long time. There were snowmobiles and ATVs. This model was purchased from a friend of mine, who, by the way, drove quite carefully and monitored its condition. In this regard, the technology did not incur additional costs for me. I was very pleased with the ATV when driving in the snow; it practically didn’t get stuck the whole time. The all-wheel drive system is also very convenient, connecting and disengaging automatically. Fuel consumption also left a good impression; a full tank lasts for a very long distance. In terms of maintenance, everything is quite simple, I checked the fluid levels, bolts and drove off. I haven’t encountered any repairs yet, but I think it won’t cause me any particular difficulties, because the design is quite convenient and affordable.

Repair Polaris Sportsman 570 Touring

  1. I had the front and rear shock absorbers repaired. In fact, they are non-separable and if they don’t work well, they are simply replaced with new ones. They are expensive. Therefore, I decided to make them dismountable, like on a motorcycle, for seasonal maintenance.


    The shock absorber specialist additionally installed caprolon scrapers in the covers so that the seals were less clogged with dirt.


    The struts were pumped with special oil for shock absorbers of motocross motorcycles.


    The repair cost 10 thousand rubles.

  2. Replaced the rear bearings with new Japanese NSK ones (2 pieces for 1300 rubles). And the original is three times more expensive.
  3. I also replaced the front bearings with Japanese NTN ones (2 pieces for 1300 rubles each).
  4. I changed the light bulbs in the rear dimensions (2 pieces for 150 rubles).

  5. I bought original Polaris oils: for the front gearbox 1 liter – 2650 RUR. (a liter is enough for three replacements) and for the rear gearbox 1 liter - 2300 rubles. (liter per replacement).
  6. I changed the bushings and axles on the front and rear arms. Cost 6 thousand rubles.
  7. I changed the rear hub mounting bushings - 4 tr.
  8. Replaced the front ball joints - RUR 3,600. and one steering tip - 1,600 rubles.

Repairs and maintenance cost approximately 36 thousand rubles.

Plus, I also bought a special tool: a torch and a gas cylinder, pliers for removing retaining rings, and for injecting the cardan, I bought lubricant at the Polaris store for 600 rubles. and a non-original special syringe 1000 RUR. (the original one costs 4,500 rubles), a German long elastic tube tip costs 1,200 rubles. Total 4 tr.

All together with spare parts and labor 40 tr.

As a result, the Polaris 570 touring ATV cost me about 400 rubles.
