Tuning
Already from the factory, the bike is equipped with everything necessary, including roll bars and a trunk. At the end of the 1920s, during the global crisis, the need for cheap and economical vehicles increased in Europe. By that time, motorcycles and heavy and technically complex two-wheeled vehicles were already being mass-produced. Many inventors could not resist the temptation to install a compact gasoline engine of a simplified design, without a gearbox, on bicycles.
The German companies ILO and Fichtel und Sachs were among the first to begin mass production of velomotors and motorbikes. After World War II, the production of motorbikes as an inexpensive means of transportation also increased. Engine designs were also improved; compact engines appeared with a pedal drive built into the crankcase and a gearbox with two gears. Some manufacturers created special bicycles with reinforced frames, shock-absorbing front forks, and equipped them with improved brakes and larger tires.
Therefore, in the countries of Western Europe, there was a need to legislatively bring the technical requirements for this type of light motor vehicles, and clearly separate them from motorcycles. In particular, in Germany (FRG), from January 1, 1953, it was determined by the traffic rules that motorbikes can be equipped with an engine with a displacement of up to 50 cubic meters. cm, and weigh up to 33 kg.
The name of a motorized bicycle, or a bicycle with an auxiliary engine, was difficult, so a competition was announced for a new name for this class of motorized transport. In 1953, at the international exhibition of bicycle and motor vehicles IFMA, the winner was named - it was the Swedish version: “Moped”

Service Features
Unfortunately, suppliers of motorcycle equipment do not always take into account the specific features of a particular type of vehicle, assuming that low price is more important. In particular, the majority of mopeds supplied to Russia under the ALPHA brand are not designed for our climatic and road conditions.
This manifests itself in the following:
- Most mopeds are used off-road (in rural areas, for trips to nature, fishing, etc.). And factory tires, alloy rims, springs and shock absorbers are not designed for such loads;

Alpha RX is an updated version of the previous classic moped. The new moped has become more interesting and elegant in appearance. The exterior has a modern look which I liked. The tank has been updated, a two-level seat has been installed - the passenger is now slightly higher than the driver. The passenger's visibility is now better. The wings are now made of plastic, but only the front wing is painted. This already saves the wings from corrosion.
The headlight became larger than that of the classic Alpha, a serious halogen lamp was installed, and the light became brighter. The rear shock absorbers have become more advanced in shape. The motorcycle is also equipped with serious lighting equipment - front and rear lights, turn signals with sound, high and low beams, a signal and a brake light.
Very easy to use. Repair is possible with a minimum set of tools, but you will have to stock up on additional open-end wrenches: 9, 11 and 15.
It comes in two versions for sale: with a 72 cc and 110 cc engine. But lately they have been supplied partially unserviceable with a 50cc piston that will need to be upgraded. These versions of the models are called Alpha 7 and Alpha 11.

Fuel tank
It is worth recognizing that the volume of the fuel tank of the Alpha 110 moped is not very large - the maximum amount of fuel it can hold is four liters. How to set the ignition and adjust the valves

This engine has the power of five horses and a maximum speed of 7,500 revolutions per minute. However, a well-thought-out transmission system allows it to cope with the intended loads without any problems.
Alpha motorcycles are equipped with a motor whose design is not complicated. The cylinder head includes intake and exhaust valves, the operation of which is ensured by the timing sprocket. The rotation of this element occurs in synchronous interaction with the magneto through a chain transmission.
On the left side of the internal combustion engine there is a foot-operated gear shift lever, which is aggregated with transmission gears mounted in the engine crankcase on a pair of parallel shafts. On the right side of the engine there is a clutch unit, which is controlled from the left steering handle; the oil pump is placed under the crankshaft and is driven by the timing chain.
