I hardly used the rear brake, but the front brake, due to the presence of ABS, works unusually, although flawlessly. The gearbox is also without any comments: the backstage travel is too big, but beginners will only be grateful. I liked the landing and the good distribution of weight between the axles; you roll into the track very quickly. What can I not say about the tires, especially the rear ones: these are an economical option. It seems like they made a side groove for stability on intersections and in the rain, but you have to drive more on dry asphalt. And even on heated tires it is not possible to carefully and smoothly turn into a turn; the transition in the tread pattern is very noticeable. But overall, it’s a very worthy piece of equipment, especially for the price.”

Sasha is involved in circuit racing and knows his stuff: while I was watching what he was doing on the Pulsar RS, it was like seven sweats. As for the tires, I’ll say this: I wouldn’t wait for them to wear out and change them right away. On the day when it was necessary to return the motorcycle to the owner, it was raining: I drove on wet asphalt, smoothly accelerated into first gear, in second I added more gas... and immediately felt how the rear wheel began to catch up with the front! You may not be able to handle such a gift “in the wet,” especially at speed. When I had already summarized all my impressions of the motorcycle into one general picture, they called me from the motorcycle dealership and clarified it: it turned out that the test bike had a replacement Chinese tire installed on the rear! The original factory one was simply burned at the presentation of the motorcycle, and since the Bajaj Pulsar RS had just arrived, the spare parts for it were supposed to arrive “just about any time”, but they didn’t arrive in time. In general, taking into account all the circumstances, the news only made me happy: Beaver would have rolled the way he wanted on his original tire!

In the city or on the highway, if you squeeze everything out of the bike that it is capable of, gasoline consumption can reach 4 liters per 100 km, but with a quiet ride it will not exceed 2.5-3 liters. Considering the gas tank volume is 12 liters, this is quite enough for a city motorcycle. If Bajaj had been generous with an injector instead of a carburetor, the consumption could have been even less. The manufacturer recommends pouring AI-92 or AI-95.

That's where I went for an expert opinion on the motorcycle. I thought about this from the very first day of the test, but, I must admit, I doubted the correctness of my idea - they would laugh at me and not recognize me... And I was wrong again. However, by the time of my visit to the motorcycle school, I already understood that even if there was criticism, it would not be so harsh. But the reception turned out to be even warmer, although the motorcycle and I had to listen to a lot of comments. By the way, the quality of the tires was criticized the most.

Personally, when choosing my first bike, I would get in line to buy it. However, wait: we still have a test drive of the Pulsar NS version ahead! A carbureted bike looks simpler, but it costs less.
