Due to the fact that many motorists who live in uncontrolled cities cannot learn to drive and obtain a Ukrainian license, they are forced to limit themselves to local “certificates” and various documents for DPR-type cars.

At the same time, drivers can use such illegitimate documents issued by local authorities of the “MREO DPR” only within the “DPR”, “LPR”, and also temporarily enter the neighboring Russian Federation. The scope of application of electric transport of this type is also wide. It is used not only for moving around the city and surrounding areas, but also for moving inside large industrial, scientific, military and entertainment complexes.

The legal framework regarding riding scooters and mopeds is very variable. The federal law on the need to register category M licenses was introduced in November 2013. To obtain a license, you need to undergo training at a driving school and pass the appropriate exam at the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

Fines and punishments for driving a scooter without documents
