They need to be changed after 2-3 seasons of use. The clutch, fuel supply and front wheel brake drum control cables should be shortened after each season of operation due to their stretching. The rubber bands in the brake drums gradually deform, which increases wheel play. It is also better to change them after each season of use.

Appearance of Alpha RX
Alpha RX is an updated version of the previous classic moped. The new moped has become more interesting and elegant in appearance. The exterior has a modern look which I liked. The tank has been updated, a two-level seat has been installed - the passenger is now slightly higher than the driver. The passenger's visibility is now better. The wings are now made of plastic, but only the front wing is painted. This already saves the wings from corrosion.
The headlight became larger than that of the classic Alpha, a serious halogen lamp was installed, and the light became brighter. The rear shock absorbers have become more advanced in shape. The motorcycle is also equipped with serious lighting equipment - front and rear lights, turn signals with sound, high and low beams, a signal and a brake light.
Very easy to use. Repair is possible with a minimum set of tools, but you will have to stock up on additional open-end wrenches: 9, 11 and 15.
It comes in two versions for sale: with a 72 cc and 110 cc engine. But lately they have been supplied partially unserviceable with a 50cc piston that will need to be upgraded. These versions of the models are called Alpha 7 and Alpha 11.
These numbers are deciphered as follows:
- 7 is an Alpha, which after modification will become a 72 cc model.
- 11 is the Alpha, which will become a 110 cc model.
Initially, these models cost like “fifty dollars” and they will not be able to drive. In any case, they will have to be modified. But according to the documents, they are like mopeds with 49.9 cubic meters and there is no need to register them with the traffic police. The only thing you need is a driver's license of any category.

The new Alpha 110 cc mopeds are equipped with a four-stroke single-cylinder gasoline unit. Its power is 3 kW (5 hp). The Alpha 110cc moped engine is capable of providing acceptable acceleration and traction characteristics (0-100 km/h:

The suspension is designed for use in areas with a lot of bumps. The rear wheel differs from the front in having a wider tire (2.75 inches versus 2.50 inches). The brake system consists of two drums, each of which is located in the central part of each of the wheels. Comparison with analogues of the Alpha moped led to the identification of competitive models. It turned out that there is only one model that can lure potential buyers to itself: Soul Lux S. Setting TDC on Alpha
To start adjusting the valves on the Alpha moped, you need to set the top dead center. To do this, remove two covers on the rotor cover. Rotate the rotor until the T mark appears.
To accurately control this process, you need to remove the timing sprocket cover. To do this, on the opposite side you need to unscrew the clamping bolt, which can be unscrewed with a 10mm wrench. Remove the timing chain sprocket cover carefully so as not to damage the gasket.
The star has a mark in the form of a dot. It should be aligned with the mark on the head body.
To easily turn the engine mechanisms, I unscrewed the spark plug, reducing the compression to nothing.

Torque chain transmission is always a problem. But low cost, ease of maintenance, coupled with low weight, and for a motorcycle - weight is a very significant parameter - outweigh all the disadvantages and the chain drive of the rear wheel, just like many years ago, is dominant in the motorcycle industry. And we are unlikely to get away from this in the coming decades.
As already said: the chain is always a problem. The infection is spreading and nothing can be done about it. And if only it drags on, it begins to eat the teeth of the stars and if it is not replaced with a new one in time, then it will literally eat the stars in one season.
Without going into theory, let's consider a classic case: the chain has stretched and requires urgent replacement. If you look closely at the picture, you will see that the chain rollers do not fit into the sprocket teeth. As a result, the chain rollers hit the sprocket teeth and eat it up literally in one season.
Alfa moped/motorcycle: best, worst or controversial?

The Delta moped is the same as the Alpha. All characteristics are similar. Anyone who seeks deep difference is doomed to failure, since there are no differences. The only differences are external. The Delta is more rare, more rustic, it has a square, somewhat dated headlight, and a rectangular speedometer, the tank is located as part of the frame, which allows you to use the free space for the pannier.
Alpha/Delta engine
The Alpha moped, unlike the Delta, is equipped with a large motorcycle tank, a tachometer, and round (occasionally a pair of round) motorcycle headlights. In other words, the Alpha is a little more motorcycle-like in appearance, because the Delta (even with a 125 cc engine) is a doomed moped.
The Alpha 110 moped is the most popular model; all motorcycle stores in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan are filled with spare parts for this particular motorcycle. Its engine costs 10,000 rubles. And this is the price of a new one! With very careful maintenance, it can travel 35 thousand kilometers without failures. But since we are now talking about an Alpha moped, the price of which in the store is less than the cost of any of the listed components, our tuning option is more modest.
Alpha engine tuning
Engine tuning can be immediate aggregate or unit and stage-by-stage. On sale you can find engines with the same method of mounting to the frame, but with a volume of 110 cc, 125 cc or 150 cc. An increase in engine capacity will entail the need to register with the traffic police, but this is an organizational issue. The technical side will be as follows: the electrical wiring remains the same, a larger engine will require a different carburetor and a different exhaust pipe. Most likely, they will be found in the same place as the motor itself.

The Alpha moped (110 cc), although it belongs to the class of scooters, looks very much like a light motorcycle. The main distinguishing features of this Chinese technology are the presence of mirrors, increased wheel diameter, and a large front fork. It has many elements made of chromed metal. The Alpha moped (110 cubic meters) has very impressive dimensions for its class and an original exterior. As a nice bonus, it is equipped with a muffler with an interesting configuration. The latter, judging by the reviews, makes a very unique sound when the engine is running. Another innovation is the elegant footrests. Fuel tank

You should know! These are the passport data, but for unknown reasons the tank holds 6.5 liters. Apparently, this restriction is intended to prevent the driver from overfilling fuel when cornering while leaning.
At the same time, due to the fact that the maximum gasoline consumption per 100 kilometers is two liters, the fuel tank can be characterized as an economical solution by the manufacturer. This fuel tank can only be filled with gasoline of the AI-92 or AI-95 series.
Tests were carried out and 98 and even 76 gasoline were filled. From the AI-76, the carburetor began to malfunction, the float chamber became clogged and the motorcycle stalled. The equipment ran well on the AI-98, but the cylinder overheated too much.
Advantages of the model
First of all, it is worth noting that some characteristics of the Alpha 110 moped exceed the distinctive features of two-seater mopeds. For example, this motorcycle is equipped with a comfortable seat for a passenger and a capacious trunk. The seat itself is quite comfortable, and, moreover, even two adult men can fit on it. There have been cases when this moped carried three people. This is unsafe and should never be done, but the fact remains.
The Alpha moped climbs any hill without any problems
Also among the advantages of the moped is that you can make steep climbs on it without much difficulty - this is possible thanks to the four-speed gearbox. An experienced driver is quite capable of achieving maximum performance from a moped engine.
